Hermione POV

"Draco, no," I stated firmly. "Just leave him alone."

"Hmm... Since when have you two been so caring about each other?" Draco taunted. The death of Voldemort must've boosted his bad ego. Draco turned to Percy. "If you need some good friends, come over to me, I'll get you covered."

Harry, Ron, and I faced Percy and waited for an answer. "Nah," Percy said cooly. "I've already got myself covered. I don't think I really will ever need your help with anything, really." Ron whistled at his comeback, which made Draco even madder than when he came here.

"And, I really didn't catch your name." Percy said, making Draco angrier by the moment. "It was like Dracula or something right? Either way, Dracula might as well suit your personality."

Defeated, Draco mumbled something under his breath, then walked away from our table. His crew followed closely behind him following him wherever he went.

I turned to Percy who calmly returned to devouring his sixth chicken wing. I made a face and turned back to my salad. He strongly reminded me of Ron, who was comparing Weasley products with Harry. I wondered how Percy got so used to this atmosphere and noise. He must've been experiencing this back at his Greek camp. Speaking of that camp, I've always wondered how to get there. My cous--

"Hermione? Hermione! Hermione. 'Mione!!!" Ron said, interrupting my thoughts. "The feast is over. Anyways, I'm open for giving my dear friend here a tour." He thumped Percy on the back and did some weird handshake.

Boys.

"Yeah, I'm coming." I replied. I gathered my belongings, and walked out of the Hall with Harry, Ron, and Percy.

As we walked, I told Percy about Peeves and some tricks to stop Peeves from pranking you. To my surprise, Percy seemed to catch along the tricks and rules of Hogwarts pretty quickly, despite his immediate move from Camp Half-Blood. It took quite a bit for me.

We finally ended our tour and reached the Gryffindoor common

"Hey Hermione," Percy suddenly calls me. "How do you know all about this." I looked at him confused. He read my expression and took back his words.

"I mean all this quest thingamajigs. Like, did you read this somewhere?"

I blushed. Not many people out of Gryffindoor know my love for reading. "Well, yeah. I mean partially. Because I know somebody there, Camp Half-Blood, who has a quite distant relationship with me, but we know each other very well."

He looked at me surprised and waited for me to continue speaking. When I didn't, he spoke, "Really!? I know a lot of people there! Tell me who!" I sighed. I don't like speaking much about my family, especially after I Obliviated my parents. Even thinking of them made me want to cry, which is something I don't do quite often.

"Ok then. He might've already died. He was quite the fire-boy. Do you know Leo Valdez?"

"Are you kidding me!?!" Percy exclaimed. "I could never forget him! He is probably back at camp constructing something or the other." My eyes light up immediately knowing that at least one close relative is alive.

"Well to answer your question, he sometimes secretly Iris messages me." Hermione confessed. "He tells me almost everything that happens." Jason smiled then frowned at a thought.

"I'm sorry about your friend, Jason. Leo told me."

"Thanks. It was a huge shock for me. But demigods, well, we have quite a short life span. With all the save the world nonsense." Hermione shifted in her chair and remembered her burning question that she wanted to ask.
