Harry POV

There was a long pause where Hermione whimpered and Ron took a step back. Percy hid behind me, fishing a ballpoint pen out of his pocket. Seriously bro? I thought. You might as well just stay behind me and take cover.

Then, I decided to take that back when he uncapped the pen and it sprung to a full length golden sword, which easily reminded me of the Sword of Gryffindor. Everyone turned their gazes to him, mouths gaped.

"Nice sword, man," I whispered to Percy.

"Thanks, it's Celestial Bronze." He replied. I had no idea what Celestial Bronze was, but it must be pretty cool.

By now, Neville, Dean, Micheal and other Gryffindor boys woke up from their sleep and joined us.

"What just happened outside?" Neville came over and asked. Hermione shrugged, probably for the first time in her life.

"We all have no idea," I answered for everybody. "I think it's best that we take out our wands." Some already had their wands ready in their robes, while other went back to their luggage and fished out their wands.

I carefully took a step forward towards the common room door. Percy, Hermione and Ron carefully followed behind me. I whispered, "Lumos!" My wand lit up and formed a flashlight.

"Here's the plan," Hermione suggested. "Nox your wands when you get into the common room, so we won't be seen. We aren't supposed to be awake at this time. Its already nine." We all nodded and agreed.

"Next, Harry, Ron, Percy and I will go to the common room to see what happened. If there is a teacher, we are going to go to them. If not, will find out who they are. The rest of you will come into the common room if we yell for help. There might be some girls out there from the girls' dormitory, so that won't be likely, but we'll never know. Got it?"

Everyone nodded, because there wasn't a better plan.

"I don't think I've ever been so confused in my life, Harry." Percy whispered to me, scratching the back of his head.

I laughed, "Don't worry, you'll get used to it, man." Percy shrugged his shoulders, unconvinced.

Hermione then carefully opened the door, and we all walked in to see a woman holding a staff wearing a long flowing crimson dress-like dress.

"Its about time you opened the door," The woman said in a sharp tone.

Percy POV

"Its about time you opened the door," The woman said in a sharp tone.

"Hecate?!" I said in disbelief. She's here already?! "You came!"

The Greek goddess sighed. "Yes, I had to. Your father desperately wanted you to finish this quest, so I was stuck coming here."

We all waited for her to go on.

"You know," She said. "This place brings back old memories. Terrible ones, too."

"You've been here?!" Hermione said in disbelief. "B-but I-i t-thought..."

"Yes. I know. I was here for I long time, and I even taught Defense Against the Dark Arts. I can say for myself that I did not bad of a job. Until he came. Tom." Hecate admitted.

"Voldemort?!" Harry blurted. "You were with him?"

"Yes." Hecate confessed and sighed. "He changed his ugly name to another ugly name. It made no sense. Anyways, enough about him what do you need to know about about this quest?"

"Well," Ron stated. "We will need to know a little about your daughter Harmony in order to get started, even."

"Oh."

At that very moment Professor McGonagall and the same man who welcomed me earlier in front of the Great Hall barged in the door, with their wands held high.

I quickly confronted them and explained, "No, don't do that. This is Lady Hecate."

"Hecate?" McGonagall said in disbelief. She stared and keenly looked at her up and down, as if unconvinced that it was really her. Hecate looked at her in disgust. "Oh, well then. Humph. You still aren't allowed to use Greek fire to barge in. It took a whole load of spells to put it out."

"I don't really care. I prefer the Greek ways of getting things done. I never liked the spell Alohomora, either. It ruins the ways of a dramatic entrances. Oh dear, is Aphrodite influencing me, now?" Hecate mumbled to herself.

"Ok, now, Hecate," McGonagall said, "Tell me everything you know. By the way, this is Poseidon." She gestured to the man standing right next to him.

Dad?!

"Hey, 'sup son.  How's things goin', saving the world?" Dad asked.

"Well, ok, I guess." I answered uncertainly. "What about that flight to the Bahamas?"

"Nah. That'll wait another time. I also had to check in with my favorite demigod, so here I am."

"And, how did you know about all this magic and stuff before? 'Cause like you seemed like you knew everything about this magic and all in the beginning, when I entered the castle."w

"Hehe, that was just my cover. I didn't want you or anyone around you thinking that some weirdo Greek dude just entered the building. Being undercover is pretty fun. Cool stuff and gadgets you can use, too."

"Huh. We should do that on our quest, ya know. The Mist might not hid everything from the mortals, or what they call here, Muggles."

"True. Hm. Hey, dad. Really, why are you here? I mean, don't you have places to be."

"Well, I thought it was time to take a break. And you know, there is this bathroom in like the fifth floor or something. Somebody told me it was like the prefect's bathroom, but I walked in, anyways. It has the coolest baths there! Lots of bubbles and tons of pretty much unlimited water." I rolled my eyes at my dad's love of water.

"Ahem." McGonagall suddenly interrupted our conversation. We all turned and looked at her. It seems like everyone was looking at our conversation like we were on stage doing something funny.

There was a long pause which included McGonagall forgetting why she stopped our conversation, Ron gagging on a stray piece of candy, and Hermione suddenly dropping the book Magickal Myiths, which she unnecessarily brought.

"Ron spit that out of your mouth before you start puking all over this common room." McGonagall commanded, finally finding her words.

"Ron, that's one of Fred and George's Puking Pastille. Why did you pick that up?" Hermione scolded Ron with a whisper on the side.

"Anyways, it's time you all go back to your dorm rooms to get some sleep." McGonagall continued.

She then directed her gaze to Hermione. "Ms. Granger, no more sneaking in to the boy's dorm room, got it?" Her eyes narrowed at Hermione who turned a bright shade of red, and everybody else, who cracked up laughing, like they never laughed before.

"S-sorry, P-professor." Hermione stuttered.

Professor McGonagall turned back to everyone else with a smile, "It's time to go to bed. I'll be back if I hear any funny business going on in here." Everybody obeyed her, daring not to not follow her instructions. Slowly, everyone, including Hecate and Poseidon filed out of the room, leaving the Gryffindor kids standing, wondering what to do next.

"Come on guys, we should go back to our dorm rooms, everybody else is asleep and Neville might be waiting for you guys." Hermione finally said, breaking the silence. "See you guys in the morning." We murmured each other a good night's sleep and parted into our respective rooms.
