She finally escaped the chamber. She stopped in the corridor and collected herself. Composing herself and her thoughts. She was so incredibly upset and hurt she couldn't find the feeling to even cry anymore. Her husband is returned alive and he is locked up unable to be with her.
Sigyn continued on her way back to the bridge.
That is the real Loki, but he is changed. Different. Almost like he is afraid to speak of what happened or what he has been through. Sigyn doesn't doubt that. She vowed then she would find who did this to him and make them suffer tenfold.
Thor is waiting for her as she entered through the doors again. He gave her a saddened smile. "What did you discover in there?" he asked, solemnly.
Sigyn sighed. "It is him." she told them. "No one else knows that poem as he made it up when he read it to me before we wed."
"How romantic." Tony Stark more stated.
Sigyn did not laugh. "But whatever has happened while he was... missing, has changed him." she didn't really know what to call his absence. "In time, he will speak."
"Will he give up the tesseract?" asked Steve Rogers.
Sigyn sadly shook her head. "No." she replied. "Whoever has him in their command, has him frightened enough that whatever he is tasked with, he will not fail. And Loki is ambitious."
"Do you think him frightened?" Thor asked, concerned, and thinking.
"To an extent, yes. He will not speak of what happened, or who. But there is always an underlining goal to Loki's tasks. He is not simply doing this because he was asked of it. He is getting something out of this for himself. Where it be he rules Midgard or..."
"Protect you." Thor suggested this notion. "You say he is frightened and not many a-thing can scare him into carrying out duties for others or enemies."
Sigyn inclined her head. "How many stories tell you that Loki has conversed with an enemy of Asgard to get his own way, what he wants, or to just simply cause trouble? And every single story told, there is an ultimatum to his actions. I know Loki. He does not want Midgard, nor to rule it. His goal is Asgard, if anything. He has always sought the throne of Odin - don't deny it."
"So why is he doing this?" Natasha Romanoff questions. She inclines this from her chair, leaning back comfortably. "If you know him so well."
Sigyn faced this red headed woman out of respect for another. "I don't believe we have had the pleasure." she said.
"Natasha Romanoff. Agent of Shield." she rose to her feet and greets the goddess with an extended hand. "Or Black Widow. No need for formalities, I know all about you."
"I believe you would." Sigyn, having become accustomed to the Midgardian way, shook her hand. Then she turns back to her audience. "Give him time to think in there. Loki will eventually ask for me." Sigyn said. "My greatest concern is why Loki chose to let himself be taken as our prisoner."
Tony Stark shrugged. "Maybe because we outnumbered him and overpowered him?"
Thor and Sigyn laughed. "My brother can worm his way out of any situation, trust me when I say literally. He has evaded capture many times no matter how difficult."
"I find it amusing when people forget just how powerful a trickster can be." Sigyn laughed at his. She looked at the camera showing Loki pacing his cell. She knows he is thinking deeply."I am surprised he hasn't escaped yet. He means to be here for a reason. What that reason is? It could be anything. It is what I will soon find out."
