A standoff that happened within the milliseconds of time. A god staring down a brave fighter. The god is swift and quick to lift his scepter. The blue gem glowing as quickly; ready to fire. The armoured fighter was quicker having predicted this move. He raised his palm flat against the air from the power source on his palm, he fired a blast of energy.

A shot of energy that sends the god flying backward. He cries out as his body hits the polished floors and slides. Trails of smoke billow in his wake. Iron Man stays floating in the air outside of the smashed window.

Bang. A loud ring echoes from the sky. The air shakes and rumbles and stiffens.

Iron Man looked upwards and shot off into the sky forgetting out the gods. A small chuckle comes from Loki as he brought himself to sit up. Sigyn turns heel and runs the length of the panned windows to the doors where she comes out onto the gauntlet overlooking the city. Winds that were gentle before have turned into violent motions. It whipped at her hair and howled down the building. Sigyn looked up to where Iron Man had taken off so quickly. And what else was so important that his attention had to be averted from two gods.

A portal of blue-blackness of space ripped open the sky directly above Stark Tower. A powerful blue beam struck the centre of the portal. And it's coming from the top of Stark Tower.

That is where the tesseract is!

That is how Loki is summoning this alien army.

It swirled like the storm of an angry ocean maelstrom. And whatever is waiting on the other side is about to come through.

The goddess, staring up wide mouthed at this opening portal that continued to grow very rapidly, holds out her hand and her spear manifested into reality. Her clothes changed with a shimmer to more appropriate battle armour.

The blackness of space is now staring directly at her. Alien figures began pouring from the portal in droves. Giant leviathan creatures that she has seen in a vision pushed through the portal to soar the skies of Midgard. Its giant body adorning alien platted armour and its massive mouth barring rows of sharp teeth. Chitauri using skiffs came flying through the portal, firing their weapons onto the city below.

Screams of the people ringing out in fear. Sirens wailing the threat of an alien invasion. Shots and blasts crashing into buildings and firing onto the ground below. Explosion bang through the air.

Sigyn looks on helplessly. Heart hammering in her chest. She watched as Iron Man flew through the skies firing and blasting chitauri from the air. She cannot fly. She cannot fight from where she is either. But she needs to stop that tesseract. She needs to get to the top of the building.

The goddess turned to head back inside when she sees Loki. "There's no stopping it!" he rejoiced. He adorned his full armour and horned helmet.

"Loki, these people are innocent!" she cried out, as the city was being destroyed, as more Chitauri continued to pour out from the portal above.

"Not so more than you or I are innocent of our sins." he admired the destruction around him. He reveled in it. "They are chaotic, unorganized. They kill each other in droves, they steal and rape, and plunder and laugh as they do so!"

"That does not give us the right to punish them!"

"We are gods!" he said. "Is that not what we do?"

"Don't make me fight you!" she brought the head of her spear forward. At this, Loki smiled with teeth. The city is falling around them and his wife threatens to battle him. How fun!
