Asher faces forward and gives me a hug, and sparks erupt on our skin.

"Forgive me. Please. I can't sleep without you. When you disappeared I cried myself to sleep for weeks. I need you, and I know its a lot to ask but, can we try this mate thing again. I think I..." Asher stiffens and pulls away. I long for his body heay, as he takes three paces around me and stares at my two other mates.

"You! I saw what you did!" Asher yells. He points at Sky. I furrow my eyebrows. Sky? He never does wrong.

"What did I do?" he asks as confused as me. My heart gives a threatening jump.

"I watched you tear that girls heart from her chest. When I reached her, you were gone."

"There must have been a misunderstanding." I turn to face the ladys. They all shake their heads and turn away.

"Look out! Ivy." I turn to face them, but my heart beat is interrupted by a hand pushing through my soft skin, and breaking multiple bones in my rib cage. I try to take a breath, but pressure surrounds my lungs as the hand grips them. I wheeze out a shaky breath and finally force my eyes open.

"Sky?" I force out. His eyes stare into mine and instead of the beautiful blue, they are black. Pure black.

"Maybe I was an angel once, but when given enough money, things can change. Being your mate was just a complication, love." He spits. Blood starts to fill up my pink shirts fabric and my two other mates stand defenseless watching. The old ladies are just as frozen.

"A little time trick. You and me. Our love wasn't fake in the beginning, but you had more mates I had to take out. And then this deal came along."

I take another shaky breath as Sky's hand shifts over to my heart.

"I reject you Ivy Lockmore as my mate."

"I... accept." I wheeze. I feel the mate bond break, and don't feel bad about wanting to kill him anymore. He doesn't either, so I move quickly.

Swiftly I knee him where the sun don't shine. Sky takes it easily and falls on his knees. His grip around my heart is gone. He is back on his feet. He throws a punch, and I twirl around, it only missing by a millimeter. I take my chance and knee him in the chin. He falters for a second and shakes it off. He moves forward with a kick, and makes it, in my stomach. He doesn't stop and quickly elongates his wings.

I get off the floor and stand up. I bring forward my werewolf side, shifting easily. Werewolf against angel. We circle eachother, and he lunges. I twist forward and bite his leg. He screams in pain. Then backs off.

"Its not over." He flys off and everyone unfreezes.

"Well, hello again." I joke.
