"So what happened then?" Daniel asks wanting all the details.
"He let go of my heart and we battled." I say swiftly. The world around me starts swirling and I close my eyes swiftly.
"Ivy?"Asher asks at my side as fast as light. I lay my body against his, the heat between us comforting me. How could Sky betray me? I... I thought... I maybe... I take a small breath. Asher and Daniel start to carry me over to a bed. I close my eyes tightly. Breathing slowly, I drift into a non restful sleep.
As I wake up I hear some talking.
"I can't go right now. For one, I am in Narvaco and two I am with my mate. The demons can wait!" Daniel shouts.
I slide out of bed, slowly and sit up. Daniel walks in.
"You need to go help your species." I say swiftly.
He starts to protest but I put my hand up.
"I order you to go. I will be the ruler of Narvaco, and the ruler of Narvaco controls all species. Also, as the king or demons, it is your duty... As my mate it is as well." I say softly. He kisses my cheek and turns to leave.
"You know... I do love you, but Asher does too... I hope you pick well, and I trust your choice." He lowers the wooden cross bridge, sending me a little wave.
Asher comes out a little later.
"Are you feeling better?" He asks. I nod and he sits next to me. His blond hair falls in his eyes, and he starts to play with mine. I notice it is still completely blond white except for one strand that is completely red.
"Your beautiful." Asher trails his fingers along my chin. His hands play with my hair and tease my skin playfuly. My thoughts run wild.
"What happened to Denise?" I ask softly.
"She broke up with me when she saw a tattoo I got." He says softly.
"What tattoo?" I ask. He pulls his shirt off and I examine his shoulder. It has a little § on it.
"I got it to remind me of your first shift, and how beautiful your wolf is." He says softly. I smile and run my hand over it, aware of the blazing heat in my fingers and stomach. He shivers under my touch, back tensing and slowly relaxes.
"Tell me about your other tattoos." I ask.
He turns towards me and I see his yummy chest. First he points to his side under his right arm. It is a track of wolf paw prints. Under his other arm, he has a full moon and mountains. Then he turns towards me, and on his chest just below his peck is a poem.
There Is A Wolf Howling at The Skys. You Can See Him When You Look In My Eyes. The Hunt Was Short, The Night Will End, Time To Become Human Again.
He smiles as I read it, loving my reaction. I smile at him.
"You know, your beautiful when you smile." he says. I kiss his lips softly.
"I am going to bed. But... Thanks for coming back. I need you here." I say softly.
"I know baby girl. I know." He pulls me into my hug, my stomach flips and heats up like a house on fire. I kiss his head and get up swiftly. I walk to my room and fall on my bed.
