The group walked through the trees, continuing their search for a familiar landmark. They had been unable to think of a way to beat Maxwell or to even find him. Wendy and Webber walked alongside each other, the two spiders skittering nervously next to their master. Wolfgang looked into the trees, looking for animals. Wilson and Willow walked ahead, looking around for something they recognized.

Wilson yawned. He felt unnaturally tired for so early in the day. He felt his headache beginning to retaliate from his magical ability to make it go away.

Willow noticed, but pretended she didn't, saying they should all take a quick break. Webber practically collapsed onto Aracnie and his other half, exhausted. Childish as always. Wendy simply sat down next to the former spider boy. Wolfgang remained standing, crossing his tinned arms. Wilson sat down next to a tree, tubbing his eye tiredly. Something was beginning to ache in his stomach. Not a queasiness, but an empty feeling that made a gurgling noise. Hunger.

None of the gods had ever felt hungry. At least not when they had powers. Now, Webber groaned and complained about a weird stomachache. Wilson sighed. This was going to be harder than had originally imagined.

"It's because your hungry, Webber. I'm guessing that we're all getting pretty hungry," Wilson said matter-of-factly. The other Gods looked at him in disbelief. "The effects of hunger might not be as strong since we are still gods, but we have lost a lot of energy."

Willow shook her head in anger. Before she could say anything, Wilson stood up again. "We need to find something to eat. Anything," Wilson said, his voice a little stronger than it has ever been.

Wolfgang nodded his head in frantic agreement. His muscles seemed to be getting thinner by the minute, making him begin to look like just skin and bone. Everyone else nodded with equal enthusiasm.

"Alright. We should go in teams while one of us stays here to mark a specific area for us to return to," Wilson smiled, actually happy that there were people here for once. He was good at coming up with plans, along with Wickerbottom.

Webber raised his hand. Questioning, Wilson pointed to him. "Can I be with Wendy?" He asked, his spiders nodding enthusiastically. However a spider nods.

Wilson didn't know why he had to ask. He nodded, to which Webber leaped in happiness. Wendy sighed, the spiders running in a circle around her. Willow and Wolfgang laughed at the two spiders' behavior. Wilson didn't understand, but he smiled anyway.
