I slowly opened my eyes. I was in a bed dressed in white, walls covered in white. A nurse stood next to me with a clipboard under her arm. She was looking at me smiling. "Are you feeling ok?" She asks. "Yes I think I am" I say, trying to get up. "Do you need anything?" She asks. "No thank you" I say. She says her goodbye and walks out the door. My arm was in a hard cast.
I looked at the clock on the wall. It was saying it was 10:00am. "You have a visitor would you like to see her?" The nurse asks as she enters the room. "Uh yes please" I half smile. The nurse walks out. Alena came bounding through the door like a herd of elephants. She ran over to the bed and gave me a big hug. She then goes sits on my bed.
"What's up?" She asks. "Nothing, how's the stable?" I ask. "It's ok, Mr. Tapa isn't so well, this incident has put a bad name on the stable less people have been joining and some have left since the accident".
"That's not good" I say sadly. "I've got something to tell you!" She says sadly. "Ok yea what is it?" I ask a little worried. "Mr. Tapa said Legacy's too dangerous and he wants to get rid of him, but selling him isn't his idea he wants legacy to go to the meat works!" Alena replies. She looks like she's about to cry. "No! He can't do that!" I say yelling.
"Legacy didn't mean to hit out at you, that wasn't his intention. When he snorted at Megan she got angry and whipped him. He got scared and reared. That's when you ended up here, it's not him its Megan!" She said sadly. She looked at me. "I better go, but I will come around later!" She smiled and gave me a hug. She left. I sat there in shock not knowing what to say.
That morning I stay in the hospital bed, my parents are coming at lunchtime. Their meant to be bringing me some lunch, as you's would all know hospital food isn't very nice to eat. I laid there thinking what would happen to Legacy. "He was beautiful and wild. All he ever wants is to be himself. Why can't Mr.Tapa understand that. What about if I never see him again. What will happen" As I said these words tears came trickling out. I cried and dreaded the worst.
"Darling are you ok?" My mother and sister walked in the front door. "Izzy what's wrong? Mummy whys Izzy crying?" Asked little Madison.
Madison was dressed in a pink and white polka dot dress. Her sandy brown curly hair flowing down over her shoulders. She wore her flip flops. Madison was 6 years old and was Isabella's little sister. Madison always called Isabella Izzy cause she can't seem to say her name right. There mother had caramelised hair. She was wearing her black work dress. And high heels. Her straight hair was flowing over her shoulders. She had a pink clutch purse in her right arm. And their lunch in the other.
"Hey mummy, Hey Madison, I missed you" I cried. Madison ran over to the bed and gave me a big hug. And mummy ran over and gave a hug too. Madison and mummy sat down in the sitting chairs in the hospital room that I was in. We ate our lunch. And laughed lots.
