I spent what seemed like hours but was only 40minutes looking for Alena and Rheed. The stable was pretty big, 50 paddocks in total, 30 stalls in the indoor stables, 4 arenas, 2 covered, 2 open spaced, a cross country course, 20 loose boxes, with paddock yards behind them, and a few round yards for training. My arm was beening a pain since it was in a cast. And I felt tired.
I pulled my phone out of my pocket. no texts. Obviously I don't care to anyone. The horses looked so happy out in the paddocks. Well the ones not doing the Kaimanawai Horse Challenge. Legacy and the other horses would be allowed in the paddocks with the other horses in two more days. I couldn't really be bothered looking for them anymore so I made my way to the hay shed to get some hay to feed to Legacy.
There they were perched up on the hay bales, tucked in a corner, where they were laughing. "What you too doing?" I asked wondering. "Uh nothing, we were um..." Alena said as she was trying to think of something to say. "We were getting some hay for the horses!" Rheed said as he recovered Alena's line. "We'll whatever you two weirdos were doing, you can get some hay for Legacy while your at it" I smiled.
Alena ran over to me and left Rheed to carry the hay behind us. "OMG!!! He's so cute!" Alena giggled happily, she kept her voice at a loud whisper trying to make sure Rheed didn't hear a word. "Uh ok?" I giggled in reply. As we reached over to Legacy's stall I walked over to Rheed. "I think someone likes you!" I giggled as I grabbed a bunch-full of hay. "Who? What.. Who is it?" He asked impatiently.
