"It's Alena you goof-ball!" I giggle. "Is it really?" He asks. "Uh, yea, she likes you a lot" I say smiling. Rheed goes and walks out of the indoor stables out to the yards. I walk over to Legacy's stall and unhitched the bolt. I walk into his stall and put the bunch-full of hay into his hay net. Alena walks past and feeds China some hay too.
Legacy nickered. He started chewing on his hay. "Good boy!" I coo. I pet his neck. Alena jogs over. "So did Rheed say anything about me?" Alena asks smiling. "No, sadly he didn't" I say sadly.
I walk out of Legacy's stall. "How's China by the way?" I ask Alena. "She's pretty good, Im so happy of her" Alena smiles. "That's good!" I giggle.
I do up the bolt on Legacy's stall door. I walk over to his trunk to make sure it's spotless- not a speck of dirt or dust in sight, phew, Im lucky like that. Least the brushes and lead in there were all tidily put away. "Im so excited for when I can go in the paddocks!" Alena laughs as she too goes and checks China's trunk to make sure it's cleaned.
I look at my watch and look at the time. It was 4:00pm and I have to be home at 4:30pm. "I better go but I'll see you tomorrow, maybe we could ask Mr. Tapa if we can put Legacy and China and all the other horses out in the paddocks a day earlier then were going to do!" I say excitedly. "Yea we so should" Alena smiles.
I give her a hug and jog out of the stables entrance and run all the way home. I would wake up and tomorrow would be another day.
