"So, did you hear Reggie say anything about where this playboy book was at, exactly?" Veronica asked, waving her flashlight around.

Her, Kevin, Betty, Ethel, and I had met up in the schools parking lot about 15 minutes ago. It was currently 9:00 o' clock at night, so obviously no one was here. Plus, Sheriff Keller was probably asleep right now so the school security isn't all that great.

I had to lie to Jug and say I was going on a night jog.

Perfect, right?

Alright not so much, but he believed it.

We were all wearing black, which was a total advantage for me. About 85% of the clothes I owned were black or gray so it was perfect. I was wearing a leather jacket with a black bodysuit under my many pairs of black leggings and combat boots.

"No, I didn't hear anything but that." I responded, tugging the beanie that covered the top of my long jet black hair, downwards.

She sighed, continuing to flash her light around the long, dark hallway.

"Football players behaving badly, what else is new? Steubenville, Glen Ridge. The coach's son being the ringleader. I mean, just how depraved is this town?"

We reached the end, about to turn the corner when a voice that sounded strangely familiar echoed through the hallway.

"Color me impressed."

We all jumped, turning around, ready to sprint away if necessary. But we stopped, seeing it was only Cheryl. Ugh.

"A B and E with B and V. What would your holy roller mother say about this, Betty?" Cheryl said, looking towards Betty.

"What are you doing here, Cheryl?" Betty asked, an annoying look on her face.

"And where did you get those thigh-high boots? They're amazing." Kevin admired, totally off topic.

Cheryl started walking down the hall to us, her high heel boots clicking against the floor.

"Trev told Valerie, who told Josie, who told Ginger, who told Tina, who told me. And I thought I would help out."

I snorted, tilting my head. "When have you ever wanted to help anyone out besides yourself?" "Don't start with me, Ms. Piggy." She snapped back, flashing the light in my face.

"Hey guys." Ethel called out, causing us all to turn around.

She was crouching down in front of some sort of glass display. We walked towards her, flashing some light on her. She was holding a book, flipping through the pages, slowly. "Trev was right." She said, shaking her head as she skimmed over it. "They didn't even bother to hide it."

We were all crowded around her, trying to catch a glimpse of the names as she continued flipping. She maybe reached page 4 when I stopped her.

"Wait."

My eyes scanned over all the names until I saw Harley Davidson. And it was next to Reggie's name. "You had a thing with Reggie?" Betty mumbled, her eyes darting towards me.

I didn't respond as I shook my head. That son of a gun. It was literally one kiss.

"Reggie? Oh, you're totally giving me some details." Kevin chuckled, causing me to roll my eyes.

"Well you got a 9.5." Cheryl shrugged, pointing at it. "Good one."

I raised my eyebrow as both Kevin and I gave each other a look.
