LuLu POV: I was in the kitchen finishing dinner when I heard keys jiggling I smiled to myself knowing it was August. I pulled the bread sticks out the oven and dumped the shrimp and scallops in with the Alfredo noodles. August walked in the kitchen grabbing a drink out the refrigerator and walked right back out ignoring me. I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion and followed him into the living room. "Baby what's wrong?" still nothing I kneeled down in front of him grabbing his hand "August you can tell me anything what's wrong?" "Leave it alone Lu." "No Aug what's wrong?" "Dammit Lu I said leave it alone!" his hand connected with my eye causing me to lose my balance and stumble backwards.
August POV: Lu grabbed her eye and sobbed loudly causing my face to soften. I never meant to hurt her. I picked her up bridal style and carried her to our room. I went in the kitchen and grabbed an icepack. I came back upstairs and she was silently crying I kneeled in front of her and placed the icepack on her eye. I got from off the floor and laid behind her falling asleep...
