September 3rd....
Akayla POV: I grabbed onto Dana and Danielle's hand tightly as we approached August grave. I can't believe my baby is gone he died fighting for our country 3 years ago and every year on his birthday I bring the kids to come and see him. Dana placed flowers on August grave and Danielle placed flowers on Melvin's grave. When it was time to bury him all I asked was that he could be placed next to his brother. I just looked at the graves in silence I didn't realize I was crying until the twins said something.
"Mommy don't cry! maw maw Shelia said God knows what he's doing and that daddy and uncle are watching us to keep us safe. There our angels mommy." Dana said looking up at me smiling "Look in the sky mama! That's daddy and uncle smiling at us. smile back mama! " Danielle said holding my hand. I looked in the sky and seen the sun shining brightly with a faint rainbow. I smiled picking my girls up in each arm.
