Remington's pov

Ever since we ran into my mother at Victoria secret, Gaia is acting particularly weird and uncomfortable around me. It's killing me but I want to respect her wishes and not read her mind but I need to know. "Can we get some food?" Gaia asked pulling me out of my thoughts. I realized we are now in the food court surrounded buy food places. "Yeah, you know we can go to an actual restaurant rather than some shitty chain fast food place." I said with a smirk. "Ok then what do you recommend?" "Let's go to Gordon Ramsey's hell kitchen I have friends who can get us in." She nodded, trying to hide the excitement. I grabbed her hand and led her out the door and trying to hail a taxi.

"Remington! My man what's up?!" Ronnie said as I walked up to the counter. "Not much man. Just out for the day." I said with a smile. He looked behind me to see Gaia looking at the line of chefs who worked here. "New one hey?" Ronnie said with a smirk. I rolled my eyes and sent him a head message. *dude I like her so don't say anything stupid please.* he nodded and smiled. Ronnie was also a vampire but tries to live as normally as possible. "So I'm guessing a table for 2?" He said with a smirk tugging at his lips. I nodded taking Gaia's hand once again leading her to where Ronnie was seating us. "Here I got ya a private room." He said with a smile and opened the door and it revealed a table for two. "Thanks man." "Anytime. Well Ansley will be your server and I'll tell her to assist you soon." He said leaving the room. "Your friend seems nice. Is he a vampire too?" Gaia asked playing with her hands. "He is indeed. Though he doesn't show it he hates his vampirism, that's why me and him are friends. I tried saving him but I was too late but he forgave me because I killed the person who turned him." She nodded. "Who turned him." "My sister." I said simply. It hurt still but it's been 187 years since she died so it doesn't effect me anymore. "Oh." "It's ok it's been a long time and it was her own fault." I said with a simple smile. "How did you turn, well how did your family turn?" She asked. "Well me and my family are kinda the Originals now. The oldest  and first vampire is dead which leaves my mom she's the oldest. The first vampire was my father. Before I was alive my mother and father were together and my dad was older by 15 years. When he and my mother started dating a witch by the name of Kathy was jealous of my mother. Well my mother was pregnant with my sister, and so to get back at my father the witch turned my father into what was called a creature of the night. But gave him a type of ring that would make him be able walk in the sun. Anyways once my sister was born he changed my mother and waited to change my sister until she was at least 20 so she looked older. He changed her and throughout the years my father and mother spilt up and got together multiple of times and my mom once slept with a man who is Sebastian's dad who was as well a vampire who was turned by someone that was turned by one of my parents. Anyways none at this point know vampires could be pregnant, because it was very rare. But my mother had Sebastian and he was human weirdly enough. At this time my dad killed Sebastian's father and my mom and him got back together and then tied for another kid for about 21 years until she got pregnant with me. And I was born a human but I was turned at the age of 21 same with Sebastian. And the same thing goes with Emerson." I said explaining my complicated family. Gaia nodded slowly. "So you basically willingly turned?" She asked a little confused. "Well kinda, I didn't want to be left out so I agreed. Like I knew my entire family was vampires so I agreed." "Is Dracula real?" Of course she asks this question. "Yeah Dracula was real but god he was creepy. I met him a few times, he was one of those weirdos who liked to drink from other vampires, and or drink the person so dry their heads would fall off." She looked at me with horror. "Yeah not a nice man but we took care of him by burning him." "Wow." "Yup, But lets get in a happier topic." "Yup." "So what are you getting?" "Probably a salad, I'm not too hungry." "Boring let me order for you." "I guess." "Ok well I am getting you my favourite." She nodded and picked at her nails. She's so fucking adorable.

"So did you have fun today?" "Yeah.. thank you Remington for taking me out for the day." She said with a small smile, I love how she said Remington but she can't call me that she'll get the idea that I like her. "Remember it's sir." "oh right sorry sir." She said sarcastically. She's so cute when sassy.
