Gaia's pov

I stood in shock at the sight of Devin alive well and breathing how could this be. Remington said he couldn't save him, then how is he alive. "Devin?" I said I'm shocked. "Gaia? What happened?" He asked confused and full of shock as was I. "It worked." Remington said with excitement as he passed by me. I was confused by his words so I followed him as he made his way to Devin. "What worked?" Me and Devin said in sync. "Well after I turned Bella I rushed to you but you were already gone, so i tried this mixture of a turning humans blood which was Gaia's and a royale blood vampire aka me and gave it to a dead human it would turn them. It sounds crazy I know it's just it's an old legend that nobody has believed but hell I was not gonna to waste millions for a person to die on the first day." Remington said with a smile. "So Devin is a vampire?" I asked a little confused. "That's the thing he's not a vampire he's a human that drinks blood but doesn't have fangy things and the ability of a vampire. His body can't produce enough blood so he has to drink it to keep him going or he will die. Unlike vampires they can't die from not drinking blood it will make them weak and not be able to move but not kill them." Me and Devin looked at each other a little confused and weirded out but Devin finally spoke. "So basically I have to drink blood but I age, can die from human things, and don't have the ability of a vampire?" "Yes correct." Remington said with a smile. "That's lame." I said feeling bad for Devin . It must suck having to drink blood to live but not getting to have all the extra ability's. "Well I can always try turning him to a vampire but that might fail and he'll be dead." Remington said giving me a dirty look. "It's ok it's not that bad. I'm ok with not having the special abilities." Devin said with a smile. "Damn I'm hungry." Devin said with a sheepish smile. I giggled and gave him my hand to stand up.

"O- is the best type." Remington said handing a glass to me and Devin. "Thanks man." Devin said with a smile. And slowly and uncertain he put the glass of blood to his lips. He slowly drank and continued until his glass was empty. Damn I'll have to get used to this lifestyle.
