Remington's POV

I had too. I had to do what I did or else I would've lost her. She will probably hate me but I rather her hate me that never see her again. "Remington...?" She whispered as she sat up. "Hi darling." "What happened?" She said looking at her stomach that's now healed. "Well the vampire hunters somehow got into the house and shot you." "But how am I healed?" "I turned you." "What....." "I'm sorry Gaia but I couldn't let you die." I said tears welling from my eyes. She can't see me so pitiful. "So I'm a vampire..?" She said looking at me. "Yes." "Ok." "So I'm dead. I'm fucking dead." She said snapping a little. "Hey hey hun look at me. It's ok it's all going to be fine." I said cupping her immensely pale cheek. "I love you." She said a tear slipping from her eye. "I do to my love. That's why I did it. I couldn't live without you." I said tenderly kissing her once chapped but now smooth lips. Her once warm skin is now ice cold. She's not human anymore but I weirdly don't feel bad for turning her. I know it's selfish but she feels like my everything.

Gaia's pov

I feel sick, hungry, dead. But oddly enough I feel alive. Free. Loved. I will never fit in with humans anymore. I have now so much to learn but I now have all the time in the world. I feel comfort being like this. "Here." Remington said slipping on a gold band with a small pink toned diamond on my ring finger. "What's this?" I asked curiously. Why on my ring finger? "Well it protects you from the sun, as well as will you Mary me?" It shocked me. Why me of all people. I am so ordinary and boring. How could he love a person like me. "What?" "I said Gaia will you make me the happiest vampire and Mary me. I know it's so sudden but I truly cannot live without you."
