Remington's pov

The pause killed me. What will be her answer? "Fuck no." She said looking at me sadly. My heart shattered. Did she really not love me like she said she did. "Ha I got you of fucking course I'll Marry you." She said hugging me tightly. I've never felt so bloody fucking happy. I love this girl with my life. "Before anything let's get you something to snack on you must be starving." I said with a wink. She blushed from embarrassment. Which is understandable for new vamps they're very insecure on feeding. "Here it tastes better." I said giving her my wrist. Blood from the one you love vampire or not will always taste the best. She shook her head declining my offer. "I don't want to hurt you." She said frowning. "Hey look at me. It's ok go ahead." I said taking my nail and cutting my wrist so she didn't have to bite. "O-okay." She said shakily. She slowly lowered her lips to my bleeding wrist and drank. It felt weird obviously since I haven't given blood in over 200 years. She sunk her teeth into the wound and drank more. She was taking to much but I can't die from this so im good. She needs to learn control. She let go and wiped her mouth. "Nice control for your first time." I said kissing her lips. "I still need to learn better control, that was pretty bad." She said rubbing her arm nervously. "Hey my first time drinking blood, I killed 3 men. You did amazing for your first time." I said kissing her cheek. I embraced her in a long snuggly hug and combed her black hair with my cold boney fingers. "I love you Gaia."

Gaia's pov

"I love ya too rem." I said kissing his cheek.
"I say we go watch some movies." Remington said letting go of the strong hug. "I am down with a movie day. Why don't we invite devin to join?" "Well.... about Devin...." "Remington what happened to Devin?!" I said on the verge of tears. He was an amazing person and I needed to know what happened. "Well the shooters, t-they shot him in the head after they got you. Since he got hit in the head he died instantly and I couldn't save him, but since you didn't die quickly I could save you." He said sadly. "He was a good man from what I could tell. I spent so much on him." Remington said sadly. I tear slid down my face. I felt awful. He's dead. No one will remember him other than me and rem.

His parents don't know where he is nor that he's dead. At least my mother knows where I am because she sold me to them. Fucking bitch but still he was taken. "I'm so sorry love." Remington said pulling me out of the thoughts. "It's not your fault. But will you please tell his parents." I asked. He gave me a sad smile and explained that his parents died a few years ago. I broke my heart that his parents died and never got to see his son ever again after he was taken. Did Devin know?
"Ahhhhhh" a ear piercing scream came from the basement. Me and Remington both ran to the basement to see who screamed. To both of our knowledge we were the only people in the house.

Devins POV

I screeched at the thought of a bullet hitting my head. I grabbed my head and shot up examining my surroundings. "Where the hell am I?" I whispered to my self. "Devin?" A very familiar voice beamed. "Gaia." I said calling down. Remington was behind her. "What happened?"
