That day i went home torn up of all these insane ideas of how to come up with the money. Personally I know there is no way I can just ask my dad for a thousand dollars without even getting scolded or worse, just for asking. I know we dont have that kind of money....especially not now, after the move.

What was I going to do? Secretly become a stripper or prostitute? HAH!!! How could i even think of something so HORRID?!

I was lying on my bed, raking my brain of how to scheme money into my pocket somehow. I see something out of the corner of my eye....and turn to see it over by my window. On the far wall, next to the window stands a dark mist. As soon as i try adjusting my eyes to it, it moves out of my sight.

I sit there questioning whether I had seen it, or it was possibly a passing cloud. To fully justify it, I walk over to the window and just stare at the area where i saw the shadow. I feel as if something is staring strait at me. My heart rate starts to quicken, and my feet start to slow their pace....

Focusing intently..... I see nothing. nothing? hmm..must have been a cloud then. Even though i don't feel that is the right justification, I turn back to my bed.

swoop.

I turn back around and see that my curtain is now canvasing my window, that was only a few seconds ago- completely uncovered. When i looked to the side of the window that had the shadow... It was there. My pulse quicken and fear set in, as I felt a Pair of eyes staring at me intently from all around the room. The very spot I stood, was the spot that kept me until I felt so frightened to even stay in the room and stare at the shadow anymore.

Downstairs I heard the front door open, and so I ran down the stairs. Breathing so fast I felt the burning of Asthama in my chest. I finally reach the first level, and ran strait to my dad.

"Alice?" my dad asked and looked at me as if I was the strangest thing he had ever seen. I probably was, because I never run (unless I really need to) and I must have looked like I've been watching the most frightening part of a scary movie over and over. Does that even make sense? Well I was scared out of my wits!

"DAD! I.... saw so..som..something. IT WAS.. BY MY WINDOW!!...and it...LOOKED LIKE A SHADOW!.." I explain to  my father as he leads my to the couch in our living room, and sits me down.

"Alice, you sound more confused than you look frightened.." He said.

I was speechless. My own father think im making up stories, but I can't really blame him. Who knows what he thinks of this house too... "Dad, I swear! I'm telling you the truth!!!" I replied and he gave me a empathetic look. "It's okay Alice. It's an old house, and sometimes things happen in older houses than in the newer houses.." He continues justifying what happened as something that building regulations now a days keep from happening, as i think of the curtain and how I heard it move, and saw it after it had moved.

Would he believe me if I told him?

I decided to keep it to myself and agree with him. "Thanks Dad, you're right! I'm being a little irrational." I say and get up. I walk back to my room and slowly look around before I decide to go back to my previous thoughts. I couldn't get the thought out of my mind and look back at the window the rest of the night. I no longer felt the lingering eyes, but I was still terriefied of thinking about the incident.

A thousand dollars, A thousand dollars.. I thought.

I soon drifted of to sleep.

                                                                                 ~

The next day at school was enough to distract my thoughts from my terrifying events. It was enough to distract anyone from thinking strait!

First period was fine, but I became very bored from listening to the teacher and decided to look around the room. Istarted to my right and looked from person to person, row to row, until someone caught my eye. He was staring strait at me... and I stared right back. I didn't know his name, but he seemed familiar. I looked away for a second; Then looked right back. He was still staring at me.

Creepy much? I thought. Then it clicked in my mind! He looks exactly like the kid I "saved" from getting bullied! Are they twins? but he has lighter hair and brown eyes... I thought.

I waved at him and he smiled. Hmmm... well I guess they are twins. I looked away and smiled to myself. Maybe they have been scheming against David?

The bell rang and my classes continued as the day before. The only thing that was different was lunch.

I got my lunch and decided that i didn't want to eat  in the cafeteria. I walked out to the library with my lunch tray in hand, and didn't even notice David walking next to me, until his arm brushed mine softly. I glanced to  my left and he smirked at me. My heart began to race. Then I felt someone to my right.... I galnced and saw the kid from my first period. The twin! He gave me a small smirk, and took my tray of food. "You're that kid form first period!" I accused and he laughed. Throwing my food into the trash, and grabbing my hand.

Pulling me toward him, I started to get really frightened. "I heard what you did for my brother," he whispered and laughed. So they are twins! "You should of let him have what he deserved." He added and David was next to pulling me into him. "Hows the money coming along Superwoman?" He asks and drags me outside with the twin following. I just look down with fear written across my face. They both laugh. David adds "looks like I'm going to get what I want soon."

"He just might" I think to myself.
