"It's time." Steve's words echoed through Bucky's ears. It was time to meet three more of Steve's freinds. Two he had never met before, one he fought against. Now, it was time to win their approval.

Steve walked up the door while Natasha stood by Bucky's side. It was like a sign of protection, probably just in case Falcon tried to attack him or something. Steve opened the door and the three men stood there. "Come in."

Thor, Clint, and Sam walked in, casting glances around the apartment. They all came to a sudden stop upon seeing Bucky.

"What the hell is he doing here?" Falcon turned around and shouted at Cap. "That's the Winter Soldier man! That dude tried to kill you!" Thor and Clint gave worried and suspicious looks at Steve and Romanoff. Apparently they did know about the huge showdown. He wasn't surprised though.

"I can explain." Steve moved forward. "Let me take your coats." The three of them were all dressed in black suits as well. Steve hung them all on the coat rack. "Are y'all ready to eat?"

"Not until you tell us what the hell is going on." Sam intervened again.

"After dinner." Natasha touched his arm, affirming him that they would all get the answers that they deserve. They moved to the kitchen and ate in silence. Bucky's nerves began to build up. He had already made a wrong impression on Sam without even doing anything to him. He seemed to think that Thor and Clint were already liking him. The silence in the dining room was starting to become very awkward for them.

"That was delicious." Thor broke the silence as they finished dessert.

"I second that." Clint acknowledged. "That was the best damn chocolate cake I have ever had!"

"I made it!" Bucky spoke up for himself. It was about time he did.

"You made a wonderful cake man," Thor smiled at him. "Who taught you how to bake like that?"

"Steve did!" Bucky answered Thor.

"Can we all move to the living room now?" Steve asked. Everyone nodded in agreement.

"So, why are you all buddy buddy with Bucky now?" Sam asked, sitting down on the couch with Thor and Clint. Bucky and Steve stood while Natasha sat in one of the chairs next to the couch. "I am not trying to be rude here, but I would honestly just like to know what's going on."

"Shut up." Thor said. "Let Steve speak his mind."

"Thank you, Thor." Steve nodded to him.

"Tell us Cap." Clint broke in.

"Okay," Steve sighed. "Look, growing up in the early 1900s was a hard time for Bucky and I. We were the best of friends and we had done everything together. It was amazing to have a best friend like him in my life. We were brought into the second World War and that's when I donned being Captain America. There came a time in the war when I lost Bucky, and believed him to be dead. I grieved for so long. Then, next thing I know, I'm frozen and I wake up in a whole new freaking time. Yet, Bucky wasn't there. It took me awhile to get used to being here, but with the help of you guys, the Avengers, I was able to adapt very quickly. I love the time that I live in now because it is so much simpler then  what it used to be for certain people like me...

"Earlier this year, I fought against a guy known as the Winter Soldier, and for awhile I did not know it was Bucky, but when I saw it, all those old memories of us came rushing back and I knew that I had to save him. I needed to take down Hydra, who had complete control over him, and that's why he was trying to kill me. He didn't even know who I was because they had brainwashed him so much. He figured it all out during our last fight. I was able to shut down Hydra with Sam and Nat's health. After that, Bucky went missing and I moved down here."
