Bucky Falls for Captain America: The Final Part

The day had come for the press conference with CNN. They were to film it live from Jackson Square in the French Quarter of New Orleans. Today was the day that they would try and help change the world together. Today, Captain America would be making one of the biggest moves of his life and he was ready for it.  He was ready to see what changes and challenges this would bring. He was ready to share Bucky with the world. Steve finished putting his suit and tie on, and moved to the living room to wait for everyone else.

Bucky was ready to help Steve make this move in his life. He was his damn boyfriend and was there for him no matter what. From now on, they would always have each other. It's what they had always wanted. Bucky was a little nervous as he took his shower but those nerves eventually went away. He knew what they were doing was right and was ready to make a big move for equality. He finished getting ready second and joined Cap in the living room.

Natasha slipped on a red dress and black high heels.  As she fixed her hair in the mirror, she couldn't help but smile. She knew what she was doing was right. She would march down with Steve, Bucky, and their friends down to Jackson Square. She would watch as her dear old friend comes out to the world and join the fight for equality. She would fight right by their side all the way. She finished third and moved to the living room.

Thor donned a grey suit and tie. He combed his hair and looked in the bathroom mirror. Hhe was ready to be there and help his friends out. They needed him. He loved Steve and wanted to be there for him. He would kill anyone who tried to harm his friends. He finished getting ready and moved to the living room.

Clint donned a black suit and black tie. He was ready to go help his friend out. Sam wore the same thing as well. He was ready to help join the movement and be there for his friend. They all wanted the same thing: for Cap and Bucky to be happy,

They all joined each other in the living room and hugged each other in a big group hug. They were ready to take on the world together. Not just as superheros, but as the best of friends. It wasn't the same without the rest of the team, but they had callled them all last night and told them the news, They were equally surprised, but gave Cap and Bucky all their love.

Everyone looked at Steve. "Are you ready to do this?"

He put his hands around Bucky and smiled. "Yes. I am ready to do this. Let's go." They walked out of the building in style and marched their way down to Jackson Square. Soon, the paparazzi came out and started taking pictures of them. The word had spread around the world that Captain America was making a big press conference down in Louisiana. Everyone wanted to know what he had to say.

As they walked up into Jackson Square, about ten cameras pointed to them. They followed them as they made their way up to the podium. Cap got up on the steps while everyone stood behind them. The cameras panned around to get a shot of them all.

"Ready when you are Mr. America." One of the reporters for CNN said.

"I'm ready." Cap nodded. "Hello, America. I am here today because I have a very important announcement to make to you guys. I have decided to tell all of you one of my biggest secrets ever because I am tired of hiding. When I grew up, and served in WW2 becoming Captain America, people like me had to live in secret. People who were gay could not come out because they would be shamed. Ii am here today to tell you all that I am gay and I am proud. Out of all the superheros who serve this country, none have came out. I don't know if I am the only gay one, but it is time I take a stand! Ii want to show kids who are afraid to come out that it is absolutely okay to come out. No one should ever have to be afraid who they are. Times have changed, and I know that now. I know that this may cause a stir, but I am fine with that. I wanted to show who I really am to you guys, so judge if you want to. It's not going to hurt me. My friends and I are here to move equality forward, and we are here to protect you as well. Good day." He kissed Bucky live on camera, and together they all walked away.

The reporters followed them all the way back home but no one would answer them. They were all too damn happy to care. The lights from the cameras flashed, but they were okay with it. They were recieving a lot of attention, but it was fine. They just made a huge step together for the better of the world. They were now fighting for equality as well.

"That was amazing!" Everyone told Steve back at his place. "Ooh, we are so happy for you!"

"And, it looks like America doesn't hate you after all!" Thor said. "Everyone is for you and are proud that you took this step forward! You are recieving absoluteluy positive comments around the world!"

"Good job!" Natasha hugged Steve.

"Cheers!!!" Clint popped some champagne.

"To the happy couple!" Sam said.

"I owe it all to Bucky." Steve kissed him. "I love you."

"I love you too." Bucky smiled and kissed him back. Now, everything was right in their world and nothing could stop them. They had each other and their friends. They have a long journey ahead but they all have each other.

Bucky and Cap were able to live a comfortable life under the spotlight. Meanwhile, they still had their friends and they would go out and have fun when they weren't saving the world. It was a great life for them now. Today, Cap has spoken many equality speeches at colleges around the United States and Bucky got a job becoming his manager. The world looked up to them as they spread hope everywhere, Thor still crashes with them once in awhile when he wants Bucky's cake. Sam and Clint check up on them whenever they are in NOLA. Natasha now lives with them in Bucky's old room. They were all finally happy and living the good life.

Now that this short, eight part fanfic is over, the book will now consist of short stories and other types of fanfiction. I wrote this little eight part thing to kick off the book and have enjoyed writing it! Further down the book, I will write a sequel chapter so we can see what they're up to next! So, I hope y'all have enjoyed this part because now the books we really kicks off!
