Chapter 15- The amusement park

I wake up and see Damien on the floor with Jason right next to him as they play the xbox. It's some car racing videogame that I have no clue about. Damien makes little oogh and agh sounds and twists his body with the car on screen. I watch until they cross the finish line together, Damien jumps up his hands in the air. "

Yes!" Jason looks at him and grabs his foot pulling him down. He grabs the back of his neck and starts giving him a nuggy.

"Be quite you little crap before you wake Laivey up." He stops and lets Damien up, "Hey Jason can I ask yopu something?" Jason shrugs and nods his head. "Do you like Laivey?" I see Jason smile as heputs his arm around Damiens shoulders. "Yeah I do kiddo, I do a lot."

"Do you think you will marry her?" I smile and Jason laughs. "I think it's to soon for that buddy but I think she is amazing."  I close my eyes as I see him stand up. I feel his fingers bruh my hair and I open my eyes slowly. His green eyes shine as he looks down at me. "Hey beautiful." He sits down on the edge of the couch laying his hand on my hip. "Hey what are you guys up too?"

"Nothing much, I was thinking of taking Damien down to Bludhavens amusement park, you feel up to going?" I nod my head and he smiles. "Cool, lets get ready to go." He pulls me up and walks away into his room. I look outside to see the sun shining and a clear blue sky.

I go into my room pulling on my favorite pair of jean shorts, I start to pull on a white tank top that says Starling City Rockets when I hear the door open behind me. I spin around and pull the tank top down fast.

Jason stands in the doorway HIs eyes moving down my body, "Damn girl." I roll my eyes and turn around to my dresser. I pull a pair of socks out and start to put them on. When I stand back up I feel Jasons hands on my waist. "You look hot." He whispers into my ear. I feel the heat rise in my cheeks and I lean my head back onto his chest, a small smile on my lips.

His hands go over my stomach and his thumbs slip under the hem. "Jason no, I step away and turn around." He looks at me confussed his eybrows scrunched together. "I'm sorry did I..." I hold my hand up and cut him off, "No it wasn't anything you did, I-I'm just n-not..." I can't explain it and my voice gets caught.

He smiles " It's okay, you're nervous i get it. I'm sorry." He pulls me against him and kisses my cheek. "Come on let's grab Damien and go." I smile up at him and stand on my tip toes to kiss him. "Thanks." He shrugs. "Don't be afraid to tell me I'm going to fast. Also you're stutter is really cute." I punch his bicep and step away. "I hate that stupid stutter."

"Come on That on next please please." Damien jumps up and down a big cotten candy in one hand and a small soccerball in the other. Jason waves him on and Damien hands the stuff to me bounding off. I smile at his mop of black hair as he runs off. "I'm glad he gets to be a kid for awhile." Jason says sitting down on a bench.

I take a small piece of the cotten candy. "ME too, so what's the story with his mom?" Jason shakes his head. Raj alghul has a daughter who got it on with Bruce. SHe got pregnant didn't tell him. Trouble started and she dumped him on Bruce. Havn't seen her since.

I nod my head, "That sucks. Guess we all have mommy issues." Jasons arm falls around my shoulders and I lean into him smelling his cologne. "That's for sure." He says his eyes following one of the rides.   

"We should watch the fireworks show." I say pointing to the poster. Jason smiles. "I havn't been to one of those in a really longtime. Let's grab Damien and go ahead and get a spot."

When Damien gets off the ride his eyes are full of excitment and he's bouncing all over. "What's next?" He asks bouncing the soccerball on his knee. "Well we were gonna grab a seat for the fireworks." Jason grabs his hand and wraps his arm around my waist.

I look up at the crowd and see an old woman staring at us. She catches me looking and smiles walking towards us. "Excuse me miss." SHe says reaching towards me. "Can I ask you a quick question." I nod my head, "I'll catch up wit hyou two in just a second." Jason gives me a wierd look and walks to a booth a good couple yards away but still watching me through the corners of his eyes.

"What can I help you with ma'am?" I ask looking at her. "More like what can I do for you."  She grabs my hand and looks into my eyes. "Is that your boyfriend over there?" I nod and look towards Jason, HE's looking so I flash him a quick smile."And you're son?" I laugh and shake my head, "No he's his little brother." She nods. "If you care about them I suggest you leave, all of you."

"Umm Laivey the shows about to start." Damien comes up behind her. "Okay Damien, Listen Ma'am I'm perfectly safe with him and they can definatly take care of themselves. I pull out of her grasp and walk towards Jason looping my arm around his waist.

"What was that about?" I roll my eyes"I don't know she was saying something about caring about you guys I don't know." Inside I was shaking what could she have meant?

"Oh well lets take this seat." He shrugs off his jacket and lays it in the grass next to the backpack that holds both his and Damiens uniforms. How he got it in I don't know.. I sit on it as he sits beside it. People start to file in and take places, A lot of them climb up into the trees and sit on the branches. I lay down and put my head on Jasons leg, looking up at the sky. I jump slightly as I feel Damiens head lay down on my stomach.

I look up at Jason but he just shrugs his shoulders. I reach down and run my fingers through his hair. THe firat Fireworks go off setting the sky ablaze with color. Everyone oohs and aaahs at the big ones that make your chest rumnble. At one point I look at Jasons face tilted to the sky. Golds and blues dance across his face.

I reach up to his cheek and he smiles looking down. "You are way better to look at than the show." I smile and shake my head pulling him down to me. HIs lips lightly brush mine and his hand runs through my hair.

The fire works finally cease and the park lights come on. Damien is asleep and rolls off onto the grass. Jason chuckles and picks him up. I slip on his jacket and the backpack, we start to leave. A loud boom sounds behind us and purple and green fireworks shoot into the air. A laugh comes across the crackling speakers.

Jason tenses up next to me, "Shit." Damien is now standing next to him his hands in fists. "Why should Gotham get all the fun when Bludhaven is right nextdoor?" Jokers voice booms through the park. "Laivey give me the bag and go hide." I do
