Tyler's P.O.V

The bright sun penetrated through my windows. I'd forgotten to close them last night. I stood up from my slumber and stretched a little.
"Tyler" mom called like she was gonna die the next second.
"Yeah?" I replied not facing her direction. Don't ask me why.
"Come get this plate from the sink " she says stirring the content of the food on the gas cooker.
I placed my right hand on my forehead "Really mom?"
"You know what Tyler, you're becoming nasty nowadays".
I wasn't surprised. I was expecting that from her.
"You should learn from Derrick, he's such a nice gentle boy " she added
I thought silently and chuckled "he's worse than your son"
"Go take a shower, we're leaving for the airport to pick Brittany" mom said in a serious tone.

Brittany is my step elder sister. Mom had gotten married to a wealthy business tycoon so that I could have a good life and childhood. My real dad died the day I was born. Sad isn't it?
Well, I actually don't think or care about that because my step dad doesn't love me as well. He tells mom during their quarrels that I'm an illegitimate son so I hate my f*****g father.
"Your dad is coming as well" she says feeling happy like she won a lottery.
"I don't care!" I snarled and walked out to my room. That devil makes me sad. I'm sure you know who it is.
My life is sad and complicated but I'm a happy boy .😆

Mia's P.O.V
"Yay! Aunt Bella is coming over!" Henry exclaimed jumping up
Aunt Bella is my mom's younger sister. She's our best aunt. She could buy the whole world for you if she wants to.

"Okay kids,get ready.we're leaving for the airport "mom announces to us
"That's good " I said and hurry to my room.
"Be snappy Mia! "Mom exclaimed.
I took out a maroon shirt with a denim shorts and a matching pair of moccasins. My hair is held high in ponytail.
"Perfect " I said admiring myself in the mirror then applied a little makeup. I quickly run down the stairs to catch up with everyone.

"My daughter is the most beautiful girl in the whole world " mom teased
I raised a brow "thanks mom".
She smiles and holds Henry as I walk together with dad.

*An hour later *
"Hello sister Melanie" aunt Bella said and gave mom a warm hug "I've missed you all "
Henry jumps on her "I've missed you too aunt!"
"Good evening aunt Bella* I greeted politely. She hugs me too.
"You're now a big girl"
I smile "thanks aunt "
Dad and aunt Bella exchange pleasantries too.
"Well" aunt Bella began "I'd like to introduce you to my best friend and her family "
"That would be nice" mom said "right Cecil? "
Dad nodded.
We walk up to where they are and I sight someone familiar.
My jaw dropped "Tyler....... not again"
"This is Brittany Jackson and her brother, Tyler" aunt Bella Said
"We're pleased to meet you " mom and dad said giving them a handshake.
The intoduction lasted for some minutes.
Just then, Tyler spoke.
"I'd like to introduce y'all to my project partner " he says dragging me out and placing his hands on my waist.
Trust me, I'm not a good pretender.
I smiled "yeah. ...."
Mom smiled sheepishly at me while I put on a fake smile.
"I'm gonna kill you Tyler, I promise "I thought silently pinching his hand
He groaned silently in pain "ouch'
"That serves you right " I whisper into his ears "I'll kill you alive"
He pressed my finger and I giggled like a two year old
Damn,it felt really good.
I jerked into reality "Tyler "
He smirked 'I don't brake my promises, remember? "
I released my hand and walked away.
We drove home and Henry couldn't stop teasing me about Tyler.
"I'll deal with you soon " I muttered to myself.

*At history class*
"Now everyone should read out their summary on what you've learnt so far" Mr Woods said adjusting his glasses.
Tyler smirked at Mia and she rolled her eyes
"I call on Tyler Jackson to begin with his partner"
Mia felt impressed at least they did something together. She opened her backpack and couldn't find her write up.
Just then, Tyler was saying the exact thing she had wrote
She buried her head in her palms "no one messes with Mia"
He actually did steal her writeup and threw his away.
Everyone clapped for him.
"I'm very impressed Jackson " Mr woods said "It's your turn miss Mia"
Mia stood up reluctantly "I wasn't feeling okay during the weekend
So I didn't do it "
"I'll forgive today but I won't next class. Have your seat".
Mia was angry with Tyler; it was obvious. He felt happy and gave her a triumphant smirk.
"Watch out for Mia" she says to Tyler and walk to the cafeteria.
