Visiting the infirmary made me feel terrible. If that prank hadn't happened, Rachel would have had lunch with us and so would Jason and Percy, and then we would have gotten to them sooner. It was all my fault for choosing dare. All my flipping fault. Dam.

I went into Percy's room in the infirmary. Nico was in there, watching intently. "What's happening with him?" I asked.

He took his gaze off Percy and looked me dead n the eyes. "They offered him a choice. He is yet to decide."

"Ooookay..."

He glared at me. "I'm not crazy", he whispered in a deadly quiet voice. "I can see what's going on in his head. And it's not looking good."

I gulped.

Nico slowly let his gaze drift back to Percy.

I waited for a few minutes, until I heard a whispered "Yes! Good... good..."

I turned to Nico. "What, what's happening?!"

"He's chosen what's right... for camp." He said. "He will return soon, if you just get Annabeth in here. He's calling her with his mind."

"Okay". I dashed out of the room like a rocket and headed over to the Athena cabin. I knocked enthusiastically on the door. Malcom, Annabeth's half-brother, answered. "What do you want?" He demanded suspiciously.

"Annabeth... is... required... at... the... infirmary", I panted.

He nodded, turned and yelled into the cabin. "Annabeth, Conner says you have to go to the infirmary!"

Well, when he put it that way, it sounded really bad.

Annabeth came rushing to the door. "Is he okay?" she demanded.

"Sorta... I answered, not really knowing what to say.

"Is he better?" she pressed, wanting to know more.

I shrugged. I had no idea. Nico had said it 'wasn't good'. But I would let him tell her that.

We reached the infirmary, panting a little after our jog.

Annabeth dashed inside, desperate to help Percy.

"How's he doing?" she demanded.

Nico barley glanced at her, he kept his gaze trained on Percy.

Suddenly Percy's body spasmed.

"What. Just. Happened." I asked.

"He spasmed. Duh", replied Nico, still not looking away from Percy.

Then; "Annabeth!"

Her eyes flickered to Percy. "Annabeth, I need you", Percy groaned.

She grabbed his hand, which was lying limp over the edge of the bed.

Then his eyes started to flicker. Then he sat up.

"Percy!" Annabeth squealed.

He groaned. "What. The Hades. Happened?"

I nodded, "That's what I asked".

Chiron, who'd been in the room since I'd left to fetch Annabeth, turned to him. "All will be explained another day. It is after curfew, so get to bed!"

"Aww, man!" we all complained. Then we smiled. It felt good to be safe again.
