Conner: How does she plan to kill me how does she plan to kill me?

Rachel: She has a name, you know.

Conner: She's alive!

Rachel: Well, no duh.

Conner: How come Annabeth didn't kill you?

Me: Because I didn't let her.

Conner: Who are you?

Me: I am the Gods damed author of this fan-fiction and you are all merely the characters. I have complete and utter control over you! Do you understand!?

Conner: Yes Ma'am.

Me: Thank you. I will get on with the story.

Conner: Please don't.

Me: But it's your turn to get killed! Isn't that fun?

Conner: Not really.

Me: Too bad. Here we go!

I was nervous. Really nervous. Rachel gave the worst punishments. But I couldn't break our dare-record. Not after making Travis keep it.

"Dare" I said.

She looked pleased. Oh boy. "I dare you to pretend I just gave a prophecy. About - she glanced around the room, then whispered to me. Oh, gods, that would bring a lot of tears.

The conch Horn called, signalling lunch. I walked with Annabeth (as requested), up to the table where Chiron stood. Thankfully, Dionysus wasn't there.

I walked up to Chiron and handed him the paper. "It's one of Rachels prophecies, sir."

He didn't look highly convinced, but he unrolled the scroll cautiously.

I think He was expecting fireworks to come out of it or something. But no, I had not rigged the scroll. The parchment and ink were normal. Only the words showed insanity.

Chiron cleared his throat.

"Heh hem", he announced, hushing the campers. "I have just been informed of a new prophecy, and I believe you should all hear it.

The prophecy states as followed:

Son of sea, and son of sky,

Hope decides which one shall die

Girl of Brain and girl of Words

Ensure the sons their final curse."

There was silence. Then: "So either Jason or Percy will die?!"

Chiron bowed his head gravely. "It appears so."

Annabeth called out, as rehearsed, "What do the other lines mean? That a daughter of Athena or a girl who can charmspeak will settle their fates?! That's rather hypocritical, don't you think?"

"Hypocritical how? You and Piper are going to betray them! Surely that's what the prophecy means, Annabeth", Drew called.

"Yeah!", half the campers agreed, as her charmspeak flew over them.

"I happen to notice I am not the only daughter of Athena, and Piper is not the only camper who can charmspeak, Drew." Annabeth was still on a roll.

Drew rolled her eyes. "Humph!", she huffed, and off she went, storming back to her cabin.

Chiron looked at us all. "Any others who do not regret the possible deaths of two heroic campers?'

Everyone shook their heads.

"Good", Chiron said. He turned to Piper and Annabeth. "Please bring the boys to me to me for a chat. They are hiding in their cabins, I presume?"

Annabeth nodded. "Well, they are both in Percy's cabin. I'm uncertain whether  they will co-operate, though."

Chiron nodded. "Just do your best, girls."

I trailed behind the girls until we reached Percy's cabin. I opened the door and saw Jason sitting on the floor with his eyes opened in what could only be terror. Rachel was just stirring, and Percy was lying crumpled on the floor, unconscious.  "What the Di Angelo happened here?" I exclaimed.
