Wow. he's free. Straight as a plank, but free. 

Chillax, Nico, you'll never have a hope with him. I scolded myself. He's flipping Percy Jackson for crying out loud! 

I sighed, and turned back to the circle. "Who's turn?" I stuttered.

Leo shrugged. "Who knows, ghosty?" He chuckled at the use of my nickname. 

"It was going to be Annabeth's turn, but she left", Piper said. 

"Oh, yeah", Percy said, his face a little shaken looking. "We know she would have given her turn to Piper, I guess, so... Pipes, your turn."

She grinned. "Percy, truth, dare or name?'

He shrugged. "Name?"

It was a question, not an answer. As though he were unsure of himself.

"Nico", she said, a smile on her face.  

He shrugged. "I don't know. What are the others? The truth and the dare?"

"The truth is, do you like anyone other than Annabeth at camp, if so, who. The dare is, if you  have one, to kiss your newer crush."

He rolled his eyes. "I'll go name. And... I don't know... maybe... 9?"

"Final answer?" Piper asked, looking a little disappointed. Probably expecting it to be way lower. 

"Final answer is... um... give me a minute... 10?" He blushed and looked at his feet.

Piper gave a squeal, which hurt my ears a little. Well, a lot.

I looked warily at Percy. "You're just saying that", I accused. "You heard what I said earlier and now  you're making fun of me!"

He looked distraught. "How can you say that? Does that really seem like something I'd do? And what was it that you said before that i'm supposedly using against you?"

I glared at him. "I said that I loved you, Perseus. And now you're pretending that you feel the same way. It's all some kind of trick!" I shouted the last part. 

Percy looked genuinely hurt.

"Nico, I really do love you. Please don't do this to me."

"But... but you're straight!" I cried.

Suddenly he leaned over and kissed me full on the lips. It was a real kiss, full of love and sincerity. 

He pulled away and looked at me, dead (heehee pun) in the eyes and said, "would a straight person do that?"

Hi! Do you like the Percico plot twist? Because I can always get Percabeth back together if you want. I do know how, promise!
