Chapter 11 New Love

*Gracie's POV*

Ever since Jacob's gotten Grim, his whole life has become brighter. He's so much happier now and I'm glad but now he doesn't need me. I'm just glad he let me stay with them in Grim's mansion. But now all I am is a burden that will be loveless and alone for-.

"UNCLE!!! COME LET US IN!"

Oh god. There's that angelic voice from that beauty queen I saw at the mall yesterday. Even when yelling she sounds beautiful. WHY DID I HAVE TO FALL FOR SOMEONE THAT'S TAKEN! I feel horrible for wanting her to break up with the other vampire but I really wanna be with her. Godammit! I don't wanna go out now. Nope. Imma skip breakfast and lunch and stay in here until they leave. Goodbye world hello anime.

After 50 episodes of Fairy Tail, I finally heard the front door slam shut. But I also heard crying. Oh nos! Is that the angel called Karlie crying!?! I hope my evil wishes didn't break her heart just now. After a while I heard her calm down and Grim's voice soothing her. He's so awesome but it'd be kinda cool if I was the one calming her down. Maybe I should go give her a hug. And because my thoughts take forever, when I finished thinking I heard the door next to my room open and close. Knowing that no one else lives here but the three of us, I knew it was Karlie. After her door, I heard Grim and Jacob's door close. With that, I headed outside to go get some grub since I starved myself all day.

By the time I got back to my door after my meal, I heard more crying coming from Karlie's room. Being the sweet little me I wanted to go comfort her. Opening her door ever slightly, I saw her sitting on the floor using her vampire claws to cut herself while crying her eyes out.

"OH NO! Don't do that! Please stop! You're too beautiful to want to hurt yourself," I said while rushing to her side to grab her wrists and stop her from cutting.

"Y-You're that human friend of Jacob's. W-Why do you care if I cut myself. I-I'm no one to you."

"No you're a beautiful angel that I'd love to get to know more. Please don't do that. It's not nice to do that to your beautiful self."

"Y-You think I'm b-beautiful?"

"I know you're beautiful. So please stop and tell me what's wrong. I'm here for you."

"O-Ok. M-My girlfriend broke up with me. She said she doesn't deserve me but I loved her. And now she's gone and I can't be alone. I don't like being alone."

"You're not alone cutie. You've got Grim and Jacob and you're father, Shadow, who's awesome by the way, and you've got me. So don't worry and be happy and if you need cry your eyes out on me."

"I-I'm not cute and I'm all alone. Please stop lying to me."

"I'm not lying Karlie. You've got so many people here for you. And fine if you're not cute then you're gorgeous. Either way, you have a lot of beauty and friends."

"Why are you doing this? I'm an evil vampire that can suck you dry. I've always been feared and despised. Just let me die for once."

"Well, 1, I'm doing this because I really like you. 2, you're not evil. I can tell. And 3, I'm not afraid of Grim. Why would I be afraid of you?"

"W-Why do you l-like me?"

"Because I just do. You're a girl and you're amazing and beautiful and I can tell you're sweet and wonderful."

"T-Thank you."

After that she broke down in my arms and cried a lot into my shirt. All the while I held her tightly and never let go.

The next thing I knew, I woke up with Karlie in my arms and we were both on the surprisingly soft ground. Karlie was still asleep and she looked so peaceful that I didn't want towable her so I continued to lay there with her on top of me.

After a while of staring at the angel on top of me, she started to flutter her eyes open and jumped up in shock while spouting out apologies.

"I-I'm so so sorry! I didn't mean to sleep on you like that. I just felt so comfortable and safe in your arms I'm sorry."

"Haha it's ok Karlie. I enjoyed you in my arms. You're very beautiful when you sleep by the way."

"U-Uhmmm... T-Thank you I-I guess."

"You're mighty welcome."

"U-Uhmm... G-Gracie... I-I know I just came from a relationship, b-but do y-you maybe wanna perhaps..."

I hope this is what she's asking for. "I would love to go out with you!"

"R-Really?!? Y-You mean it?"

YES! "Of course I mean it. I'd love to go out with an angel like you!"

"O-Ok. T-That's great! D-Do you wanna go get some breakfast now?"

"Sure sweetheart. Let's go!"

I feel like this has been fate pushing us together!
