*Gracie's POV*

It's been 3 days since Karlie and I have been going out. Once we told Grim and Jacob, they were thrilled for us and had some humor to brighten the day more.

"I didn't know you were straight Gracie."

"Shut up Grim. I'm a girl you butt!"

"Haha I know. I'm just messin with yah."

"Uncle you're mean sometimes."

"Na ah. I just like messin with peps."

"Oh well. Common Karlie. We're gonna miss the movie if we don't go now."

"Ok. Let's go then. Bye guys!"

"Have fun at the movies you two!"

When we got to the theater the previews had already begun. The movie had something to do with love and guns but I wasn't paying attention do to the angel distracting me with her beauty and radiance. God I'm the luckiest person in the world. What I wouldn't do for this special women of mine.

The movie ended before I knew and I was startled out of my daydreams by the angel herself looking into my eyes.

"What are you thinking about Gracie?"

"Just how beautiful and special you are and how lucky I am to be going out with you."

"I-I'm n-not b-beautiful or special. A-And I'm the lucky one here to be with you."

"Oh hush up. You're gorgeous and amazing."

With that I planted the biggest kiss of my life on her luscious lips and felt her soft ones move with mine after a while. We then deepened the kiss and were only interrupted by the need to breathe. It was magical moment.

"Whoa that was amazing."

"T-That was so much better then when I did it with Annie."

"YESH! I'm better than her!"

"Haha common silly. Let's go home."

"Yeah!"

Back home we found dinner made with a note from Grim saying that they will be back soon from a nice night walk. After throwing the note away and eating dinner, we watched some tv and just snuggled. It was a wonderful night.

After a while of random stuff, Karlie had to use the restroom.

"I gotta go. Don't wait for me."

"Ok sweetheart. But hurry back! I'm already missing you."

"O-Ok."

The whole time she was gone, I had a feeling of dread and worry. I hope she's o- BANG!

"KARLIE!?! OH MY GOD KARLIE PLEASE BE OK!"

I ran up the stairs as fast as I could and burst into her bedroom to find her bleeding out on the floor.

"NO!!! KARLIE! Why would you do this?!? You are amazing and precious and too wonderful to leave!"

"I-I'm s-sorry but I j-just couldn't handle it anymore. I-It all hurt t-too much. I-I'm sorry for leaving you. Y-You were the best thing to happen to me. I-I l-love you."

"N-No don't leave! I'll get Grim. He can help just please don't go! I love you too Karlie don't leave me!"

"I'm s-sorry Gracie. Goodbye."

"NOOOOO!"

Her dying breath slipped out of her mouth as I sobbed on her body uncontrollably. What felt like an eternity after, Grim came into the room holding Karlie with a worried looking Jacob coming in the rear.

"WHAT?!? Why do you have Karlie?!? She died!"

"Yeah she did. And I'm the one who sends the souls wherever they're meant to go. And Karlie ain't gonna leave. I'm unfair sometimes but whatever."

"G-Grim, thank you so much. I made a huge mistake and I was an idiot."

"It's ok Karlie. People make mistakes. It's part of life. Just get back in your body and we'll talk this out."

With that, Grim put Karlie back in her body which healed up from the gunshot and she opened her eyes. As soon as she did I hugged her and she hugged back while we both cried forever.

During the talk, Karlie told us that when she died, her problems seemed so small and fixable that she regretted painfully leaving me because she also realized that I was her soulmate and the one that is to be here for her forever. Grim and Jacob just sat silently listening and letting Karlie talk and me hold her. After it all, Grim just told us goodnight and took Jacob to their room to leave us alone.

"I-I'm so sorry Gracie. I should have never done that."

"It's ok sweetheart. As long as you're back and in my arms and safe and never doing that again."

"Never!"

"Good. Then let's go to sleep. Which room do you want? Yours or mine?"

"Yours of course. It smells like you and to me that's heaven."

"Haha ok love."

"I love you Gracie."

"I love you too Karlie. So much."
