ARIANNAS POV

"So I got some information." I say.

"What did you find out?" she asks.

"Well, her name is really Meredith Wheeler, she faked it all these years. " I tell Alexis.

"Oh crap. " Alexis says, leaning back into her chair.

I read the rest to her, and Alexis seems to just be shocked from everything.

"Did you find anything about-"

"Getting there. " I cut her off. "Local reports say Meredith Wheeler was seen in New York earlier this week. We don't know why, but everyone's heard of her sons so called death last week. Workers at the hospital have said she visited a patient but won't give out any information. "

"So is there a chance?" Alexis asks.

"Maybe, but I'm not getting myself too excited because we might be wrong. " I shake my head.

"This is fucking insane. " Alexis says.

"I know, but I don't know why your mom would do something like that, if he's still alive. " I wonder.

"Arianna, it's my mother, the lady who faked her name and sold drugs when she was in college for money. "

I sigh, and we just sit there deep in thought.

"So how's your baby?" Alexis changes the subject.

"She's good, we brought her home last week. " I reply.

"What do you mean brought her home?" Alexis asks.

"Oh, I have birth to her a month before and she had to stay in the hospital. " I explain.

"Well at least she's okay now." Alexis nods.

"Yeah. "I say, crossing my arms over my chest. "I'm gonna go. " I get up and grab my things.

"What's her name?" Alexis asks just as I'm about to open the door.

"Emma " I answer and Alexis smiles before I wave and leave the station.

To come visit her, I don't know what got into me, I just wanted to yell at her for what she's done but now we're trying to figure out if her brothers alive or not.

Things can change in a few months I've noticed.

**FOUR DAYS LATER**

"So do you really think he is?" Harry asks, cradling Emma in his arms.

"I don't know Harry. " I sigh "but we already got tickets to New York so when we go, all we need to do I find a way to find their mom."

"Well what are we waiting for now?" he questions, sitting down next to me.

"I'm waiting for one of her workers to call me back." I answer and Harry narrows his eyes at me. "I called the office, and after a lot of convincing, she agreed to give me the number considering it wasnt even that big a deal, but whatever."

"And wheres Emma staying when we leave tomorrow?"

"My moms." I sigh. "Youre asking way too many questions."

"I just want to make sure of some things." he nods.

"Well, I have her bag packed, and my mom had bought a crib and playpen without even telling me, so thats at her house." I tell Harry.

Harry nods, putting Emma in her crib now that shes asleep.

"What are we gonna do when we get there? We dont even know where she lives." Harry says, leaning against the counter, and I hear a beep. I smirk, telling him to wait a minute and running into the office.

I grab the papers, running back into the kitchen where Harry is. I hand him all the papers, sitting on a chair and waiting for him to look through it.

"Can I ask you another question?" Harry chuckles, looking up and I nod. "Why didnt you become a private investigator instead of a model?" he asks and I laugh, shrugging.

___

"What if we came here for nothing?" Harry asks, staring up at the huge building.

"Dont say that." I tell him. "We have plenty of time to do what we need to."

We walk through the glass doors, walking up to the front desk. The woman looks up from her call and motions for us to give her a minute.

"How may I help you?" she asks, smiling once she puts the phone down.

"Uh, hi. We were wondering what room Meredith Wheeler is in?" I ask.

"I dont think we can give that information out." she shakes her head.

"Im her neice. I've been trying to contact her for so long, and I finally did so I came down here to talk to her." I lie.

"Well she is currently at work and wont be back, but if you're family, then I'll give you her apartment number." she nods and I smile at her. She types away on her computer, and writes down the information on a post-it.  "Thats everything."

"Thank you so much." I smile.

"Its no problem, have a great day!" she smiles back, waving to us as we exit the building.

"That was easier than I thought." Harry sighs.

"She must be back by now Harry." I say, putting my boots on.

"Cant we just go early tomorrow? Im really tired." Harry groans, rolling onto the bed.

"Haz, this is really important to me. Please." I say.

"Fine." he sighs, throwing a shirt on and putting on his shoes.

"I love you." I smile, pecking his cheek.

"Yeah, yeah." he mumbles and we walk out of our hotel room.

We take a cab to the building, and when we get there, a bunch of lights are lit up, except for some. Harry and I literally run in the building from the cold and to the elevators.

"What floor again?" Harry asks and I pull out the paper the lady wrote the stuff down.

"7th." I tell him and he presses the button. The elevator ride went surprisingly fast, and when we get to the floor, I pull the paper out again.

Harry looks over at me, as I read over the writing. "Room number 709." I tell him.

We walk down the hall, looking for the room, and soon we are standing right in front of it.

"Ready?" Harry asks, drawing in a breath.

"Ready." I tell him, grabbing his hand. I use my free hand to knock on the door, and from behind it I hear footsteps coming closer and closer.

The door swings open, and we are met with the brown haired, green eyed woman who knows the truth, and knows the one thing most important.

Her eyes go wide and she is about to close the door on us, but Harry puts his foot in front of it.

"Hello Mrs. Wheeler." Harry smiles, opening the door wider.
