ok so it has been literal years since I updated this but I'm bored in lockdown and those tiktok pov videos (yes the draco ones) have convinced me to install this app again and I got the urge to go back to writing this fic so let's see how this goes! long time no see all of u :)

when marcel arrived at the funfair he had barely stepped through the colourful arch when he was rugby tackled to the ground.
"you came!!!" his friend exclaimed, grinning from ear to ear. marcel groaned at the weight on top of him.
"uh jon... you're kinda squashing me."
"oh fuck sorry!"
the pressure quickly lifted from his chest and a hand outstretched towards him. marcel smiled gratefully up at evan who pulled him up from the ground in one motion and pulled him into a hug. evan had quickly become as much a part of the group as anyone else, and he loved the boys like family.
behind him marcel could see tyler. he nodded at him, but tyler barely met his eyes. before he could say anything there was a soft pat on his shoulder and a quiet word of encouragement from brock, who was holding tightly onto a big moose teddy bear that brian had won for him ten minutes earlier. "I'm really glad you showed up," he told marcel. "I know it's not easy with the way things are with scotty and everything, but we're glad to see you."
"thanks brock, I've missed you gu-"
he paused his sentence.
"wait, what do you mean about scotty?"
suddenly the group fell silent and when he got no response the confused boy shot an accusing glare at tyler who was fidgeting with his hands.
"for fucks sake tyler, did you not fucking telling him?!"
brian's voice suddenly broke the silence as he appeared beside the group of friends having come back from the ticket booth. tyler looked at the ground and then up at marcel apologetically; "I knew you wouldn't come if I did..."
marcel sighed and pulled out his phone to check the time. "I can get a bus if I leave now, I'll meet you guys tomorrow or something," he began to say fumbling in his pocket for change, but before he could finish his announcement he heard familiar voices and laughs coming towards the archway.
the group turned around to see the rest of their friends - david and lui, who were hand in hand, ryan, bryce, anthony, craig, and of course, scotty -  walking towards them. they seemed in high spirits and even scott was, for the first time since the 'incident', smiling and cracking jokes. on one hand, it made marcel happy to see his best friend looking a little bit more like himself, but on the other, he just couldn't ignore the nagging voice in his head. either way, it was too late now; and he watched as the colour dropped from his friend's face as they made eye contact. he saw craig nudging scott slightly, and felt brock's warm hands rubbing his own shoulder comfortingly.
"you got this man, don't worry about it. you guys have been friends for literally forever,  I'm sure you'll work through this one."
