Not A Menace

A/N: Takes place one year ago when Peter first started out and before the Juveniles were formed. Bold wording means that Peter is thinking in his mind and talking to the reader

"Being a hero,the glamorous life right? Oh well the reality is...". "HEY GET BACK HERE FROG!!" A fifteen year old Peter shouted as he webswung across the city chasing a man dressed in a purple and yellow suit."MY NAME IS BATROC!!" the man shouted back in a french accent at the teen as he leaped up into the air.

"You sometimes have to deal with annoying bad guys like this guy"."I'M STILL GONNA CALL YOU FROG BECAUSE YOU KEEP JUMPING AROUND LIKE ONE!!" Peter quipped as he kept chasing the leaping man until the two made it to a rooftop.Batroc growled as he charged at the teen and jumped over Peter before kicking him in the back."OWW!!" Peter shouted as he was kicked into a air vent "Like seriously ow!"."This guy is more annoying than trying to hatch a shiny pokemon"."Ok...seriously you are a frog..." Peter growled in pain and stood up as he glared at the man "maybe you should of called yourself Slippy from star fox"."You're a very annoying little boy!!" Batroc yelled as he ran at Peter ready to kick him full force."HEY!!" Peter yelled as he dodged out of the way of Batroc's kick as he hit the air vent breaking it "I'll have you know I'm the average height for my age!"."Even though I get called short stack at school". Batroc ran at Peter and slammed into him as the two fell off the rooftop "Crap! Crap! Crap!". Peter shot two strands of webbing at a rooftop as it attached slowing down the fall as the two fell onto a hot dog cart. Peter groaned in pain as he stood up and looked at Batroc as he was ready to leap."Oh no you don't!". Peter shot a web at the man's leg and pulled him down as he hit the ground before Peter webbed him down. Peter sighed in relief as he looked at the few civilians who gathered around and looked at the scene."So uh..anyone called the cops?" The teen asked as a few people nodded."WHAT ABOUT MY HOT DOG STAND!?!" The stand owner yelled at Peter as he pointed to the broken hot dog stand."Oh uh..bye!''."Emergency exit self: activated!". Peter shot a webline and webswung away as the cops arrived and arrested Batroc.

-Time skip to the next day-

Peter sat on a rooftop as he looked at a online article made by the daily bugle as it showed an image of a monstrous version of him with the words "Spider-Man:Threat or Menace?".

"Seriously!?!". Peter sighed and put his phone away before webswinging away."One hotdog stand got destroyed and I'm automatically considered a menace". The teen kept webswinging through the city not paying attention to his surroundings."I wonder if iron man has days like t-". Suddenly the teen slammed into a window of an office building.

"-His...Ow!!". Peter slid off the window and before shooting a webline and landed on a rooftop."I think I need more practice at this superhero stuff".
