That same day of school I avoided Archie the whole day. My heart ached not being able to speak to him.

But I promised myself I wouldn't, not until he's done with all this Red circle fiasco. And technically, I didn't have to speak to him. He isn't my boyfriend.

I was sitting at my porch with my head in my hands and looked towards the house next over to see Archie walking out and with a book bag.

...

"Veronica, what are you doing. Cheryl! No, no, no." I grabbed the shirts, that supported the red circle, from Cheryl and Archie and dumbed them. "What, what's wrong?" Veronica asked watching me. "I'm supporting your boyfriend, that's all."

"One, he isn't my boyfriend," Archie winced at me. "Two, supporting him getting killed!" I groaned.

"I'm not going to get killed! Macy, can we please just talk." Archie grabbed my hand. "Hold up, the Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis of Riverdale aren't together anymore?" Cheryl asked, crossing her arms over her chest.

"No because, I apperently don't have the power to save his life." I sarcastically smiled at Archie, before walking past him. "Macy, come on please!" Archie followed me through the halls. "Mace."

...

I sat alone in my house when I heard rocks being thrown at my window making my scoot back from the window. When it kept happening I peeked out seeing Archie. "What?" I dead panned when I opened the window.

"Mace, please. Can we please just talk?" I groaned closing my window and walking out the house after grabbing a coat. "Yes?" I stood in front of him. "I need you to do me a favor." I couldn't say no to him.

I was at the school doing him the favor he asked pulling out a zip lock bag from the boys bathroom from the toilets. And inside the zip lock bag had a gun. I scoffed and left Riverdale high.

"Archie Andrews! Why do you have a gun?" Archie sat on his couch looking down. "To protect myself." Archie didn't meet my eyes obviously ashamed to tell me. "You wouldn't need to protect yourself if you shut this down when I asked you too." I sat next to him. "If you're doing this then, I guess I'm doing it too." I crossed my arms over my chest.

"No, you aren't. It's dangerous." Archie finally looked at me. "Then you aren't either. I'm not letting you do this alone." I grabbed his hands. "I want him dead, Macy." Archie said just above a whisper. I pulled his head to my chest as he frowned and kissed his forehead. "It's going to be okay Archie."

"Does this mean we're back together." Archie looked up at me with hopeful eyes. "To be discussed, lover boy." I chuckled. "Where's the gun anyway?" Archie asked.

"I had Veronica hide it."

Later that night the Bulldogs came to his house with three boxes of pizzas. "Why are they here?" I muttered to Archie, he shrugged pulling me down to sit next to him. "Archie could have told Weatherbee the hood was mine, but he didn't." Reggie said taking a bite out of his Pizza. "What hood?" I asked turning my gaze towards Archie. He gave me a look as to say 'don't ask'.

"In the book of Reg, that makes you a top-tier loyal badass." Reggie continued praising him. "We were talking today and decided if you wanted to keep the red circle going, We're here for you, dude." Reggie pointed his pizza towards Archie.

"Are you serious! it's like you want him to die!" I stood up, raising my voice. As if on cue, there was a motor outside making me walk over to the door. "Macy, don't. It could be danger." Archie stood up as I looked out the door seeing the serpents. "Why the hell are the serpents outside your house?"

I heard Archie speed walk over, then Reggie and the others. "How stupid are you North siders? You really think you can come to my house, stick a gun in my face in front of my boys and there wouldn't be any payback?" He stepped closer to Archie.

"Excuse me? Who do you think you are? Actually I don't care, leave my," I stopped myself. "Friends alone before I kick your but." Reggie pulled me back before the boy could speak to me. "You have crap timing, bro." Reggie spoke up, stepping forward. "Bulldogs eat serpents for lunch." Reggie walked in front of me. "We'll see about that. The more the merrier."

Reggie grabbed a fistful of the serpents shirt before Archie pushed him back, "Hey, chill." Archie looked at me. "Mace, stay here." Though he hadn't said the nickname he gave me in forever as it tugged my heart strings I was still going to be stubborn. "I think not." I scoffed about to walk past him before he put his hands on my shoulders.

"Macy, please. Love you." Archie kissed the corner of my mouth before continuing to walk out of the house. "Reg, watch her." Reggie nodded, "Like always."

"if you want a fight, we'll fight." Archie stared at the serpents. "What about your gun?"

"What about your knife?"

"How about no weapons." Veronica emerged through the serpent crowd smiling at me. "If you troglodytes insist on doing this, there are going to be rules. Or should I call Sheriff Keller to be referee?"
