Waking up to many messages from Archie asking where I went after the confirmation asking if he could walk me to school only to find out I was already at school. "I'm just saying Cheryl, there's something off with him and he's not talking to me. Obviously he doesn't trust me as much as I trust him. That's fine because I li-"

"Love food way more than you love him. You shouldn't think to much into it he could always just be surprising you." Cheryl fixed up her lipstick before turning to me. "Like with a bouquet of flowers." Cheryl had her head tilted, looking past me. "what?" She grabbed onto my shoulders and turned me around to see Archie Andrews with a bouquet of red roses.

"Archie?" I walked towards him, confusion written all over my face. "I didn't know if I did something wrong last night, but I called mom and she said that I should get you flowers so I di-"

"Archie, they're beautiful." I pecked Archie on the lips with a smile. "So,"

"What?"

Archie looked at me as if he asked me a question. "Why'd you leave so quick last night?"

"I was hungry, and I wasn't in the mood for fancy people food." I smiled at Archie as he furrowed his brows. Obviously, he could tell I was lying.

...

I had just got home from a night by myself at pops when I heard rummaging coming from my room. I stopped moving and tiptoed around to grab the bat that was always behind the couch. I tiptoed up stairs trying to stop breathing loudly.

I stood in front of my room door, gripping the bat tightly. Suddenly, the door opened causing me to scream and swing the bat. "Macy, what the hell!" Archie grabbed my wrist, ducking his head from the metal bat. "Arch. What are you doing here?" I was gasping, leaning onto the hallway.

"Can I not surprise my girlfriend?" Archie kissed my ear then my lips. "There's nothing wrong with that." I smiled before leaning into him. "Arch." He simply hummed in response. "I love you."

"And I love you." Archie pulled me closer, into another kiss. Before we both knew it we where on my bed. Archie and I with no shirt on, whispering sweet nothings into each others ears.

...

"Archie, calm your hormones. We're right infront of our friends." Archie groaned moving his hand down my thigh to my knee.

"Fair warning. Our Shadow lake chalet is rustic, but it had breath-taking views of the mountains, the water-"

"Oh, my God. That sounds heavenly, Vee. What do you say Jug. can you bear it." Betty smiled at Jughead as he looked up with an intake of breath. "As long as it's cool with your dad."

"He actually suggested it. Macy, Archie?" Veronica smiled at us. "We'd love to."

"Well then cue the dueling banjos. It'll also be a good chance for me to work on my novel." Jughead tapped his computer before looking up. "Excellent! But remember, the point of this luxury weekend is to relax and unplug-"

"Luxury and weekend. Two of my favorite words. so, where are we going and how extravagant a wardrobe should I pack?" Cheryl clapped her hands together, interrupting Veronica.

"Sorry, Cheryl. it's kind of a romantic, couples and friend-only weekend." Veronica didn't dare to make eye contact with Cheryl. "Of course. I see. My mistake. Well have fun with your romances." Cheryl smiled sarcastically before walking away.

"Poor Cheryl."
