(A/N): Vas Happenin' everbody! This is mah first chapter fic evah! So hopefully, it isn't too horrible... Now... before I add up chapter 2 I need to make sure it's worth my time. So I'll probably do so after I get two or three votes on it. Maybe even a comment. Nothing too crazy xD And then from then on I'll just keep updating and hopefully I shall gradually build readers. So... yeah. I'll stop talking to you, and... read on :D Hope you enjoy! [2013 Elsie here, I apologise for this story, I'm quite the carrot at first because I just... I don't know. Forgive me. I wrote it in July which is like... seven months into me being in the fandom so I don't know why my carrot stage lasted that long ANYWAY K BYE]

[Louis' P.O.V]

"Louis Tomlinson you may be the oldest out of us four but you're definitely not the responsible one," one of my best mates Liam Payne snapped. Or maybe just mate rather. I sometimes found it difficult to call him a 'best'.

"I don't have to be responsible. You do that for me," I replied smugly.

He and I were walking through the streets of London after midnight on our way back to our flat. I may or may not of have forgotten to fill up the gas in the car after driving it, and we may or may not have broke down.

"We can't even call a tow truck until tomorrow, because no one is even open at this hour," he continued to rant.

"Payne. If you don't shut up, I'll sell you on the street for your body," I rolled my eyes at him.

"I wouldn't doubt it. You'd probably even trade me in for a simple paper clip," he snapped.

"Nah. Then I wouldn't have anyone to clean my flat for me," I smirked at him.

"Get a job and start helping with the rent and then maybe you can call it your flat," he hissed. I simply winked at him, and his scowl deepened. He looked away from me in exasperation and was about to say something else, but he stopped dead in his tracks. His arm flew out to stop me from walking as well, but remained in an almost protective manner, "What the hell is that?"

I pushed his arm away in an irritated fashion, "What the hell are you talking about?"

"That, right there, on the side of the walkway!" he pointed.

Sure enough, on the sidewalk, an unidentifiable mound was curled up against a the brick wall of a bar we were about to pass by. The bar was still full of life inside, with loud music and loud laughter coming from behind the closed door. Everyone was completely oblivious to the shape slumped outside of it.

"A dog?" I suggested.

"With shoes?" he asked in disbelief.

"I didn't notice the shoes, okay?" I defended.

The lump moved, and made a very human like groan of annoyance. Liam glanced at me before cautiously stepping forward, "Hello?"

"Ask it if it's a dog," I called to him as he continued to advance forward. I watched as he leaned down to look closer at the mound.

"It's a boy," he said in disbelief.

"Is he hammered?" I asked. "He is sitting outside a bar, after all," I strolled casually over and looked down at the lad. He was pale under the street lamp, dressed in an odd tattered coat. He had curly, chocolate brown locks that spilled from beneath a grey beanie on the top of his head. I pursed my lips, "He definitely looks kind of hammered."

"Shut up and help me wake him!" Liam groaned. The boy who had a heart that was three times bigger than any normal human gently shook the boys shoulder.

"M'not sleeping," the boy grumbled. "Just resting."

"On the sidewalk?" Liam asked confusedly.

"Well being as I don't really have anywhere else, yeah," the boy still kept his eyes closed.
