There was blood staining the white sheets and pillow in her now tiny childhood bed indicating where they had been placed and arranged side by side. She had puked then and almost fainted after seing this, it was too much. They had gone too far and they were not done yet. There on the wall above the bed was a waiting message, clearly left for her, she couldn't have missed it, it was painted in blood, her familys blood, and by the looks of it was fresh, obviously ment for her because it wasn't in the police report, the bold red text were now engraved and would haunt her heart and mind forever.
'HIS LIFE FOR THEIRS YOU SHOULD HAVE JUMPED'
It was her fault after all, the realization destroyed her, she almost didn't make it out of the house. She remembered screaming and screaming, calling out for them to end her, she remembered crumbling and just laying there only to be found a day later by Pete in the same position just near the bed under the text, dead eyed and unresponsive.
That's how she knew who and why this was done, it was all connected to one thing. The incident.
A soft pleasant voice brought her back from her horrific vision, she was still seated on the floor at the gym.
"Miss are you okay, do you need help?"
