Jacob pulled Gabriela over to the table by her hand. He pulled out a chair for her and she sat down. "Thank you kind sir." She smiled. "It's my pleasure Milady." Jacob replied with a bow. He sat down in his own chair.

"So, why the library?" He had all her information. He knew everything about her, but he didn't know why.

Why she made the choices she made.

Why she did the things she did.

Jacob wanted to know why.

"It was my mom's favourite place. She loved being there it it was her happy place. She always made blueberry muffins. She always made everybody coffee, even though she didn't work there. So when she passed away she asked me three things. One being to look after the library, which is why after Betty the previous librarian quit I signed up for the job."

"Wow. That's amazing." He was amazed at this beautiful creature in front of him. She was committed and caring. "So now that you know my life story I would like to know more about yours." She gave him her heart-warming smile. "Um well there's not much to tell." He looked down at his hands in his lap. "Come on. There has to be more to the chivalrous handsome gentleman in front of me."  Luckily Jacob was spared a second more as the waiter came to take their order.

He gestured for her to order first. " I'd like the 300 gram steak, medium rare. With chips onion rings and a cheese sauce oh and I want a large bubblegum milkshake." His eyes went wide. The waiter's eyes went wide. She didn't notice anything. She was looking at the menu. After her words registered he started smirking. She was something else. Some girls he tried dating only ate salads and drank mineral water, but she was not like those girls. The waiter was still scribbling down her order when Jacob said that he wanted the same.
As the waiter left Gabriela looked up from the menu placing it on the table. "So Jacob, tell me about your handsome self." Jacob frowned as he knew that he couldn't get out of this one. He so badly wanted to tell her the truth but that would only put her in danger so he opted for the next best thing. He told her the twisted truth.

"Well I own this restaurant and the hotel down the street, also there is a bar on the outskirts of town that belongs to me. The restaurant was a family business and after my dad died he passed the title on to me. My mom isn't around much. My dad's death was very hard on her." He rushed it all out without mentioning the gang or any of it's dealings. He also didn't mention that his mother is in a mental facility and that she beat him every day from the age of 13 when his dad died. He could have easily fought back but he just never had it in him to raise his hands for a woman.

"Well that is a lot. I thought you said there wasn't much to tell." She teased him. He liked the fact that she would rather tease him than show pity towards him. He smiled softly as the waiter returned with their milkshakes. After placing them down he left.

Taking a big gulp of her milkshake Gabriela started talking. "So, I still don't really know that much about you. How about we play a game?" She wanted to know some of the finer things in his life. He was intrigued by this beautiful princess of his and would do anything to make her happy. "Sure princess what game would you like to play?" "Twenty questions. I ask a question we both have to answer it then it is your turn until we have both asked twenty questions in total." He gave out a chuckle. She is so perfect. So cute. He was in love. "Okay you may begin questioning." He wondered what her question would be while she thought about something to ask. She wanted to start off easy. "What is your favourite colour?" He replied without blinking an eye. "Hazel brown, because it is the colour of your eyes." Well if he didn't seem like a creep before he sure did now was the thought that struck him after his confession. But she only smiled her cute smile and said her favourite colour. "Any brown, it's the colour of coffee, warmth, tree trunks and of course your, I mean my eyes." He smirked at her it was his turn now.
