The next morning Gabriela woke up. Feeling refreshed after the great nights sleep. She was glad that today she had the day off and that Miranda would be attending to the library. Miranda was a temporary worker that helped out at the library whenever Gabriella needed a day off. Of course her customers would be upset at not seeing her at the library. Gabriella was just as sad but she needed a break from the long hours at work.

Gabriella got out of the bed only now realising that she had absolutely no idea how she got there. She looked down to her clothes to find that she was still in her work attire. She was relieved but also speculative. She remembered Jacob saying that they could just watch a movie. That was also one of the last things she remembered. She didn’t know how she got into the house or into her bed. There were many thoughts rushing through her head. Did Jacob drug me? No he wouldn't do that. Maybe I just fell asleep in his car. If that is the case then he is totally sweet to bring me home and put me in bed. But how did he get in?

Deciding that she just didn't care, Gabriella stepped out of her clothes and into the shower. After she was cleansed she stepped out wrapping a towel around her body. Her hair was still dripping wet. She walked to her closet. She chose a pair of dark blue jeans and a white shirt that said whatever you want on the front that was ripped at the back. She pulled on her favourite blue flats and plaited her hair into a French plat. She brushed her teeth and went downstairs to eat toast. Gabriella loved toast with grated cheese and syrup on top. She made herself a cup of coffee and saw her handbag on a table.

As fate would have it her cell phone started ringing inside. Taking it out Gabriella didn’t look at the caller ID. “Hello. Gabriella Gonzalez speaking.” Gabriella gave her usual greeting to the caller.

“Hey cutie pie.” A deep voice replied. The voice was that of a person that Gabriella could never forget. “Hi.” Gabriella squeaked.

“I wanted to know what your plans were for today, that is if you're not working.” Jacob knew that Gabriella was off from work but he didn't want to seem like a stalker. “Oh. Well. I was thinking of going to the park. I also need to get some shopping done.” Came Gabriela's reply.

“How about I pick you up. We can go get that shopping done and then I can take you out for lunch. I'll also add in some ice-cream.” Gabriella was overjoyed. She hated going to town on her own. “Okay. Cool. Awesome. What time will you be picking me up?” “I'll be there in fifteen minutes.” Jacob ended the call. As soon as the screen flickered call ended, he jumped up and down screaming YES!

Fifteen minutes later…

Jacob pulled up outside Gabriela's house. He walked to her front door and as he was knocking the door swung open. “Hey.” Was Jacob's response. He was unsure of what to say.

“Hi. Do you want to come in for some coffee?” Gabriella invited. Jacob said yes and he walked with her to the kitchen. As Gabriella was making the coffee she noticed Jacob staring at her out of the corner of her eye. Gabriella looked over at him. “Why are you staring at me?” “Because you're beautiful.” Gabriella was lost for words so she just blushed and looked back down at the coffee.

After both of them finished the coffee and the small talk was over, Gabriella grabbed her handbag. She placed all her necessities inside. Jacob took her hand as they were walking out. She locked the door and they both walked to the car. Gabriella was about to open the car door when Jacob opened it for her. “Please do remember that the guy should always open the door for his girl.” Gabriella just rolled her eyes even though she secretly liked it and got into the car. Jacob kissed both eyelids. “Don't roll your eyes at me sweetheart.” Gabriella blushed she did not even realise that he was looking at her. “Sorry.”

Jacob pulled into the mall parking lot. He got out and opened the door for Gabriella. They both walked to the closest food store. Gabriella silently got a trolley and pushed it down the aisles grabbing the things she needed.

When they got to the cashier it was a girl. She had blonde hair and blue eyes. As the girl was ringing the items up she was also staring at Jacob. Gabriella was a very possessive girl and she did not like it when other girls stared at what was hers.

When Gabriella paid the cashier wrote something on the back of a slip and handed it to Jacob, winking. Gabriella was upset. Jacob was grinning as they walked back to the car. “What did she write?” One of the questions that was swarming through Gabriela's mind. “Her number.” Jacob answered shortly. Gabriella was angry now. Jacob put the number in his back pocket and got into the car without opening the door for Gabriella. Now Gabriella was furious. She got into the car after packing the rest of the items in the back and slammed the door shut. “I want to go home.” Gabriella said softly. Jacob was confused but still smiling. "Okay."
