Act 5

Ethan, my gardener freezes the minute he saw me. He bulges his eyes because he can't believe what he was seeing.

"Ethan, what are you doing here?" I ask him.

"Ma'am, I should be asking you the very same thing. Are you a prostitute?"

The question he asked me makes me very angry, seriously DO I Look like a prostitute. "Don't you dare ask me that question, none of these girls asked to be here! So what exactly are you doing here?"

He gulps. "I work here now."

"oh really, Since when tell me?"

"Boss Jose offered me this job and it pays twice the amount I was making from planting flowers and grass, so I decided to take the job and make more money. I swear that it wasn't my intention. "

Tears starts to rain out of my eyes, each and everytime I get new surprises and secrets are expose." I can't believe what you are telling me now Ethan. Remember when everyone in your village gave up on you, they didn't want you in their town because they were accusing you of stealing, I was the only person who believed in you and your innocence, I was the only person who helped you. I gave you a job, a place to stay for free, food and  water. I practically raised you. It was a job that your mother didn't even do,and this is how you repay me. "

Ethan tires to Comfort me but it wasn't working at all.
" I appreciate everything you did for me Ma'am, I never knew that my Boss would plan to Kipnap you. I mean I noticed your absence during the past few days but I it never came to me that your husband would plan a Kipnap on you."

I stand up and fold my arms to emphasize my anger." Oh is that so, so tell me are you gonna rape me now. Are you gonna force me to sleep with you huh? "

Ethan shakes his head." No ma'am, I have a lot of respect for you, I won't do something like that because you helped me so much in life, I will lie and tell Brenda that we slept together. "

If Ethan really respects me then he can totally free me." I need you to help me escape then!"

Ethan widen his eyes."Whao, we both know I'm not allowed to do that. They might kill me for all we know."

"Come on Ethan, I'm very desperate.  I'll go crazy if I stay another day in this place,and my kids are in need of me. Please I need your help Ethan!"

Ethan sighs heavily. "I'm sorry Ma'am but I can't put my life in danger. Jose will kill me if I try to help you."

I wipe of my tears that are in my face. "Why did Jose Kipnap me then, what was his motive to do this?"

"Jose found out a very disturbing secret of yours."

I suddenly get goosebumps, what secret is Ethan talking about.
"Tell me what secret?"

"Jose did a DNA test behind your back and he found out that Mike is not his son."

My heart rate increases dramatically, and I freeze for a few seconds. "Yes, it's true. That night I was drunk and I slept with the wrong person. I never told him that Mike is his Son, I always kept that from Jose because I didn't want to loose him."

"Yes, he was so furious when he found out that you were unfaithful and that you kept secrets from him."

I frown. "Well that doesn't make him a Saint. He kept even bigger secrets from me. He never told me that he was a pimp and that he was kipnapping innocent girls. We are both guilty in this marriage, by the way where are my kids?"

"Angela was sent to boarding school and I'm not sure where Mike is, I haven't seen him for a long time now."

Oh my, this all makes sense now. That's why he decided to Kipnap me on Mike's birthday. He was punishing both of us.
"Ethan, my son could be in danger right now. You have to find him please Ethan." I cry out loud.

"Relax Ma'am, I will look for Mike and I'll let you know whether he's safe or not. I need you to trust me."

I lean closer to Ethan and our faces were only a few inches apart. "Ethan, my kids are the only reason why I'm living. I can't loose neither of them. I need you to please help them. I to speak to them again if that's possible."

"Consider it done Ma'am, for you I'd do anything. If it wasn't for you I would be living in the streets by now. I'm doing this to show my appreciation for everything that you've done for me."

I smile at him. For now Ethan is my only hope. I was so shock to know that Jose found out about Mike. I mean if Jose is capable of kipnapping his own wife, Imagine the things he can do to someone who's not his blood. I thought Jose was different, I thought he was a good man but he is just as worse than other men out there. I admit that I was unfaithful once in my marriage but Jose was seeing Brenda for more than 2 years which won't justify him. It's been very long since I've seen the sun, the stars and my kids. My kids are my everything. I have to be strong for them now. Jose messed with the wrong mother, once I get out of here I'll make sure he'll pay for what he did to separate me from my kids.
