Floods Of Secrets(Complete)

Act 10

Iris gets out and we quickly run as fast as possible to reach the taxi, the guards are chasing us behind our backs and they are almost catching up with us.

One of the guards graps Iris from the back and she falls. The guard tries to hold her tightly and I have it go back and help her.
I turn my back while Iris Looks at me in horror.
"Run Jane run, more guards are coming this way. You have to save yourself before its too late!"

My heart races, "Iris I can't leave you alone!"

Iris cries out in pain as the gaurd holds her tightly. "Leave Jane now! Go and find help please."

I look around and the other gaurds are shooting guns at the other girls. Already 3 girls are shot and they take Iris away. I then decide to run to the taxi and Ethan drives off.

We are only 6 in the taxi including Ethan and I'm quite disappointed that our plan didn't work out. 11 girls are still trapped and 3 are dead now.
And Iris is in trouble, "Ethan, I need you to drive to the police station right now, we need to save the other girls."

Ethan nods and drives to the near station so that we can report it quickly.
My heart rate is beating faster than normal and I don't know what will happen next. But the only thing I want now is for Iris to be safe. I hope they don't kill her.

As we drive, I look at the mirror and I recognise Jose's car and number plate. I drop my mouth in shock as I learn that they are following us. "Ethan you have to speed up now, Jose is following us!"

Ethan accelerates and I look at the back again, Jose's black Mercedes-Benz window opens and Brenda comes out while the car is speeding. I bulge my eyes to see what exactly she is doing but I realise she has a gun on the hand. Brenda points the gun at the left tire of the taxi. She fires the gun but she miss, the girls inside stream in fear.

"She has a weapon on her hand, we need to act fast." I shout out.

"There is a gun under the passengers seat." Ethan says.

I stretch my hand and search under the seat until I find it and take it out.

I open the window and Piont the gun right at the tire of the car. "This is what you deserve Jose!" I scream out and fire the gun.

This time I am lucky I didn't miss and Jose's cars slows down.
The girls in the taxi all scream to celebrate.
And Ethan continues to accelerate.

After 5 mins we are all fine, nobody is following us.

" Um.... Ma'am we are running out of fuel!" Ethan shoutes out.

And from where we are driving is in the middle of nowhere. Then after a few seconds the taxi stops and its already noon.
"Noooooooooooo!" I shout out really loud that other countries would hear me.

"What do we do now?" I ask Ethan.

"I don't know. We are in the middle of nowhere and none of us have cellphones. We'll I say let's sleep here for tonight then tomorrow we go find the nearest city to ask for help."

All the girls are scared now, so am I. I never experienced any type of roller coaster in my life. This is too much." We can't sleep here Ethan. They will look for us and find us here."

"Where do you want to sleep then, in the trees or underground huh?" Ethan says in a very high pitch.

"No, stop shouting at me Ethan because it's not my fault that we ran out of fuel!" I shout back.

Ethan's face turns red. "Well there is no other way. This is a forest and they are many trees here. Neither of us knows where we are. I am not going to look for help outside here at this time, there might be bears here!"

"Stop fighting please. Think about the other girls there who needs us. They are still alive there and they still need our help. If we work together we will get things done!" One of the girls says.

I see a car coming this side and I wave my hand for it to stop. Soon everyone joins me by waving hands but the car passes us without even stopping.
I sigh heavily."Okay, fine I agree with Samantha. We shouldn't fight and we need to work together. This place might be dangerous for us to stroll around looking for garage stations or whatever. Let's sleep inside the taxi and then first thing in the morning we go and look for help."

Everyone agrees with me and we go inside the taxi and close the door. I close all the windows and the other girls sit down and sleep. I decide to go out again because I need time to let all my tears out.

I look up upon the stars and Whisper a small prayer.
"Father God, please don't abandon me now. I need you the most...."

Ethan disturbs and  comes and stands next to me.
"Aren't you cold?" He asks.

"No Ethan,I'm scared. I've always been a brave person since I was a little girl,but now I have to admit that I'm really scared. I wish that this was all a bad dream and that I will wake up already."

Ethan takes off jacket and lend to me. I take the jacket and wear it since I'm freezing.

" You know what Jane, you are an incredible woman. I never met any woman like you before. Don't worry everything is going to be okay. "

A single tear comes running down from my eyes. "I'm worried about Iris, what will happen to her?"

"Iris is a very smart woman, I'm sure that she will find a way to escape."

"She is the only friend I ever had Ethan. Right now we were celebrating that we'll be free but it seems like we counted our eggs before they hatch. If she dies, I will never forgive myself."

"Let's hope that she will be okay. If something happens to her you shouldn't blame yourself."

I fold my arms. "Everything is happening so fast. I keep loosing people that I love. My husband, my kids and now Iris."

Ethan looks deeply in my eyes. "Well Jane, you haven't lost me. I'm always gonna be here for you. I'm like your guardian angel."

"And why is that?"

"Because I love you Jane. I may not have much, I may not have a mansion or a car but all I have is love."

Ethan touches my cheeks with his hand. And grapes my chin gently, his face moves closer to mine and our lips pressed on each other.

Kissing Ethan felt different, I would usually kiss Jose but without feeling anything but this time kissing Ethan is the best feeling ever.
His lips is so soft, and the way the press onto mine, it's like I'm being renewed.

I like Ethan.....
