Floods Of Secrets(Complete)

Act 7

I walk slowly to make my way down the stairs.
Until I reach the first floor, I can see the main door, As I walk slowly to the door I hear a manly voice behind my back saying "Going somewhere princess!"

I turn around and the guard has a gun on his hand. "Please sir, please let me go. I don't belong here. I need to leave now!"

"Sit down or I'll shoot!"

I did exactly what the guard told me and I sit down on the floor. Soon Brenda appears, her shirt is filled with blood which doesn't look good. She looks at me with disgust.

"If it were up to me, I would kill you by now, take her away!" she says.

The gaurd holds my arm tightly once again and he takes me to the very same room I hate.
As we enter, the other girls are quite astonish to see me. The gaurd leaves me in the room with the other girls, I sit down on my bed and start to cry. This is my one chance and I blew it.

Iris soon joins me and sits next to me to comfort me.
"What happened girl?"

I am in no condition to speak now, I can't breathe properly and I am in a lot of stress right now. "I stabbed Brenda in the stomach and tried to run away, but the gaurd found me and I'm brought up here again."

Iris widens her eyes. "What the hell, Jane have you lost your mind. What you did was very dangerous and wrong."

My eyes are super red at the moment from all the crying. "I had to do what I had to do Iris, I won't just sit here and have sex with strangers. I was not destined for that, you hear me!" I shout.

"So you were planning on escaping and leaving us behind, I can't believe you Jane. I thought we were friends but no, you chose to think of your damn self!"

Friends? I never had any friends in my life. I realize now how much Iris supported me. I never knew what a friend is actually. I am too selfish and I have pride. That's the reason why I never had any friends. I just realize that Iris is the only friend I ever had. "Iris, I'm so sorry, please forgive me I beg you."

"I actually thought that I found a true friend but none of that was true. It was all just a lie." Iris stands up as she is about to leave I pull her arm.

"Please forgive me!"

"Let me go, I am tired and I wanna go sleep!"

I let go of her hand and she leaves. How selfish can I be, Why am I like this. I'm such a horrible person, I just hope that Iris will soon forgive me.

🌞 It's morning now and I hardly slept. My eyes are so red and my hair is messed up. I stand up and walk to the bathroom but I am disturbed by the gaurd. He tells me that Jose is here and he wants to see me.

I enter Jose's office and he is sitting on the chair looking all innocent.

"Jane oh Jane. You know you should be on the top 10 list of the most dangerous animals on the planet . Since you stab people now." He jokes.

"And you should be on the top 10 list of the world's most corrupt men, since you kill, Kipnap, destroy and steal now!" I reply back.

He giggles, "I like your charisma you know. Brenda is in hospital now fighting for her life."

I roll my eyes with attitude. "I don't even care if she dies. She can go straight to hell!"

Jose widens his eyes. "What you did yesterday was very smart and stupid at the same time. If you ever try to escape again I swear I will kill you."

I laugh sarcastically. "That's what you should've done in the first place. Why didn't you, was it because you still love me. "

Jose immediately drops his smile. "No Jane I don't love you. I love Brenda!"

I smile at him, I know exactly that his lying. "Don't you lie to me now. You can fool Brenda but you don't fool me. I know that you still love me and that you wanna punish me for being unfaithful In this marriage."

"Where did you learn that from huh?"

"I have my ways Jose, I can tell that you are still madly in love with me but you chose revenge rather than love. And what did that bring you? Nothing but hatred inside of you!"

"Stop it now! You don't know what you're saying, you talking nonsense!!!"

I move closer to Jose, our lips were only a few inches apart and I can tell that he's dying to kiss me. I can see it in his eyes. "If what I'm saying is nonsense, then take your gun and shoot me now!"

He sighs very heavily. "I won't take any orders from you. I'm the man here and I get to make the orders!" 💥

I raise my left brow. "Well, I'm the woman here and I get to be in control. For once I am proud to say that I hate you. You're the worst person I know. And this is a promise that I'm making. Yes, I've tried escaping and it didn't work. That doesn't mean I won't stop. I will do at anything to rescue my children from you!"

Jose frowns at me."Why would you save them. Why waste so much of you to save them. What's so special about children!"

There it goes, the monster said it. All this time he felt nothing for my kids. All this time it was a lie. "I'll never abandon my own kids, I mean even animals protect their young ones. But you, you are a monster Jose. Even if Mike is not your son I will still rescue them!"
I move away from him and he looks like he wants to cry, although he's just holding in those tears.

I got into the room again feeling so much power and bravery. I sit down on my bed and I am actually proud of myself that those words actually touched Jose. And now that I know Jose loves me, it's time to play a game called 'I told you so'.

This is going to be so much fun actually, 😁 I will play with Jose's feelings and get him to fall madly in love with me even more. In that way I can actually get out of here.

Iris appears and I stand up to hear what she wants to say.

"Girl, listen I'm very sorry for the way I spoke to you last night, I was angry and harsh. Will you forgive me please." Iris apologizes

I give Iris a wild smile. "No way, I'm the one who needs to ask for your forgiveness. I was being selfish and I promise you that from today on me and you are like a car and petrol. I won't go anywhere without you. I never had a friend before and you're the only friend I have now."

Iris embraces me with a hug.
"Thank you so much Girl. And you have to promise me that when we leave this place we will still become friends again right."

I nod my head in agreement. "Of course, after what we've been through. We will obviously be friends."
