Lance's eyes filled with tears but, for the first time in almost two months, these tears were happy.
Keith's eyes widen as he stares at thw Cuban boy.
"Why the fuck are you crying?!"
"Shut up mullet"
And with that, something happened that Keith had never expected. Lance leaned over his bed...and kissed him. It was desperate, but soft.
As he pulled away, leaving Keith wide eyed and in shock, he chuckles a bit.
"Don't you ever do that shit again!"
The paler boy nods with a dark red blush on his face.
After everyone was alerted, Keith spent much of his time being hugged and scolded by his friends and brother. Shiro wound up being forced back to school the next day. Lance on the other hand, walked to Keith's door. Keith was finally aloud home, but not yet to school. Lance sighs a bit as he knocks on the door. Keith opened the door with a deadly look. His hair was ruffled and he wasn't wearing a shirt on his bear, pale chest.
Lance stood in awe as he stared at him.
"What?"
Keith asked annoyed
"...Your buds..."
The boy was right. All the buds were gone. Upon looking towards the couch he was sleeping on, he saw a soft cushion of petals. His eyes widen and he looks to Lance.
"That's not possible...Y-you either have to die or...or..."
"Or....what?"
"...R-return my....feelings..."
The two stared at Each other in long silence. Slowly, lance cracked a smile and pulled Keith to him, crashing his lips into the slightly shorter boy's. Keith slowly aloud himself to kiss back.
"So...doea this mean we're going out...?" Keith asked, looking away embarrassed.
"Of course it does, mullet. This I kiss just anyone?"
Keith chuckled and shoved the Cuban boy a bit. He shivers a bit as a cold gust of autumn wind rushes by.
"Looks like Autumn is almost here..."
Lance smiled as Keith spoke. He connected their hands and chuckled lightly.
"With you, it's spring all year~"
