"Oh Jesus Christ, why can't you go?" I asked Dean over the phone.
"Because Sam and I are looking for Jack and you're only an hour away." Dean spoke.
"Oh yeah, I forgot that my older brothers, The Great Winchesters, lost the fucking Anti Christ." I mocked them as I got out of my bed.
"You're Winchester too, don't forget that." Dean seemed mad.
"Give me the phone." Sam said in the background. "Erika, please just go to Riverdale and look into it? It would mean a lot."
I scoffed. "I really hate you guys you know."
"We know and I'm sorry to pull you back into this..."
"No you're not, what am I going after? Demon, Vampire?" I whirled my finger around and a pre-packed bag from my closet floated out and landed on my bed.
I heard Sam moving papers around. "We aren't actually sure, it might be a vengeful spirit or a demon. A man was shot in a diner, the shooter didn't take anything and there were 2 other people in the diner that he didn't touch. I talked to the son who was there over the phone and he said that there was only one other shooting recently and it was a man that shot his own son. So other this town is really messed up or..."
"We have a vengeful spirit that is possessing and killing people. Killing your own son does sound pretty fucked up." I grabbed my keys off the table. "I'm heading out now."
"That was fast, are you still practicing your magic?" Sam asked.
"As much as I can, I don't really want my roommate to know but thankfully she's out with her weird ass boyfriend most nights." I opened the door.
"Ok well, drive save and calls us when you get there." Sam said.
"Sure thing Sammy. Talk to you later." I hung up and walked down the stairs of the apartment building. I unlocked the door to my dark purple Plymouth Roadrunner.
"Ashley." I heard my roommate call. She was leaning up against her boyfriend, obviously drunk. "Where are you going?"
"Sorry, it's really sudden Tammy. My brothers need my help finding their dog Jack, I should only be gone a few days." I threw my bag into the trunk.
"Oh, I hope you find him." She started up the stairs.
I nodded. "Have a good night."
Her boyfriend smirked.
I scoffed and got into my car. I waited for Tammy to get in the door before I moved my hand slightly, the door to our apartment slammed shut and locked, leaving her boyfriend outside. I started my car. "Creep."
