"I will fix this," I kissed my wife's cheeks as she slept softly while I got ready to visit to my father to have a much needed discussion that's long overdo, "I promise."

She's a heavy sleeper I'm sure she didn't hear a word that I've said, but I mean them. Hope she knows that she can count on me even if it means going against my father.

I finished my morning routine and rushed downstairs to eat something then zoomed to the streets and arrived at the company that I'm working with my father and other businessmen such as Ted. We all have fair shares in the company somehow my father who has more seniority and has navigate this realm successfully for so long.

We usually bit our tongue with him because he has never lost a business deal which we respect him for it. But I think having that power has gotten over his head a little bit. He doesn't know when to draw the line and that's equals who decide to do business with such as Emily.

I stopped and take a deep breath as my eyes read the letters written on the door, Chad Henderson. My nervousness returns again. Because the name has earned its stripes in the business world and inspired me to be on his level in my own way. I brush off my anxious thoughts and focus the person who means everything to me and I want to keep her happy.

I am a man with a plan. I am a man with a plan. I can do this.

I'm not sure why I am repeating those words but somehow it brought out more confidence that I needed to face my father.

I drafted a plan a fews ago the pros and cons of and now it was time to execute that plan. I have two individuals who can persuade my father on why shouldn't work with the woman has and is causing my drift in my marriage.

I knocked on the door and when he permitted in I went straight to the point. "Father, I want to step down from the project with Emily, well at with the one on one meetings."

He removes his glasses. "Why is that? Do you have a good reason, son?"

"Because it's interfering with my marriage," I stated, I didn't want to hear my wife being in tears over something that I took part of behind her back anymore.

He looked at me not understanding, "I spoke with Linda and doesn't mind—""

"She doesn't mind? You can be very convincing when it comes to business. Father, she cried herself to sleep few days ago because of your persuasions." I am annoyed at myself that I didn't get informed Linda sooner. but hearing my father completely missing the point annoyed me even more.
