* Linda Pov *
He closed his eyes and smiled content with that after all these years we were still made for each other.
"Now let's go before we're late." I snaked my hand over his arm and felt the tight muscle around it that he'd gained from working out too often.
Mm-hmm. I can think of many ways to put those strong arms to good use.
"You know, your parents do not enjoy having late visitors."
He chuckled, noting that I was so strung off eye ogling his athletic bod. "I'm sure they can spare us a minute or two."
"I'm sure they could," I inhaled his unusual yet perfect scent and how it was so easy to get it lost in it. "But I don't wanna risk it."
My husband pulled me close. Skin touching so close that I could feel the heat that birthed around us.
With that instantly, I've forgotten how to breathe as his mouth was slowly searched for mine and completed what its desire to do.
Our mouth danced together as our hands clung and pulled to satisfied our thirst for closeness. My husband lifted me up and settles me to the nearest counter.
"What are you trying to do?" I asked pretending to be oblivious to what he had in mind.
In the past, I was terrified at the thought of him doing it. I've only experienced it once on our wedding night because I was unaware of the purpose of the act.
But once he did, Once he was done with me. I was quivering with an indescribable type of emotions that I pleaded he never do it again. It was almost a sin to feel that way.
That's one of many ways a husband comforts a wife.
He raises my dress up and let it hung around my mid thighs as he knelt in front of me. "I want to please you, is that so wrong?"
I like the way you think. But I don't know if I'm worthy to enjoy the beautiful feeling this brings...
I shook my head and bit my lip.
"No, of course not."
Why you always lying, Linda?
His hand rested on my knees and parted them slowly. "Alright then."
Just as he was preparing to be his performance the house phone ranged. "It's probably not important," he mumbled choosing to ignore the phone call.
I nodded and blushed, terribly. "Yeah. You're right."
His eyes bored into mine as he tried to see if I still desired what he was prepared to give.
"You know..." I pulled my dress down to veil my bare thighs. "Woman weren't birthed... let alone meant to enjoy this." I said.
What the heck are you talking, Linda?!
He smirked and shook his head. "Why not?"
I shrug. "Because it's a man's world. And I was birth to plead to your every need. Yes, it took me awhile to submit my heart, body, soul to you. Now that I've done that's how it should be and not the other way around."
"I don't know about you, but I've read Song of Solomon. I can guarantee you that it was meant for you and me to explore our love both physically and emotionally.." he lifts my dress back up. "As one."
Oh for goodness sake! This man is trying to drive me crazy.
The house phone ranged for the second time.
Andrew groaned annoyed by the constant interruptions. "I'm sure they'll leave a message."
The voicemail beeped, and we were startled by the voice of Jennifer Henderson Rogers.
"I know Y'all are there and most likely doing the freaky. Y'all better stop right now because mom and dad are so furious that they were tempted to call the SWAT Team to get you too." she laughed then proceed on the message.
"But I told them I would handle it. So lovebirds, you two have five minutes to arrived at the family reunion. Everyone is waiting for you. Literally."
The phone beeped again to end the message.
We both said nothing.
Andrew sighed straightened my dress down as it was and helped me stand back to my feet.
I smoothed his shirt straight and smiled weakly. "I told you they dislike having late visitors."
"I can't even have five seconds of alone time with my wife." he chuckled and led the way.
