Albus Severus Born July 3rd 2006

Albus was the most insecure of his siblings. Plagued with James’s constant teasing, it was understandable, but that made the boy’s confidence no better. Besides claiming his mother’s stubborn set of the chin, he looked exactly like his father, messy black hair and brilliant green eyes. He was an okay student and a good Seeker, but, like his mother, he preferred the action of Chaser. He did enjoy a good book, much more than either of his siblings, and that was perhaps why he became such good friends with Rose. He and Rose were inseparable from the day they could speak to each other of the books they had recently read.

When that first day of Hogwarts came around and he was standing in front of the Hogwarts express, his ferret cage by his side, and James had just run off after teasing him some more, he was more insecure than ever about ending up in Slytherin. Then, Harry told him of Severus Snape, the young boy’s namesake, and Albus boarded the train, pondering his father’s words. When they arrived at the Great Hall to be sorted, Albus steeled himself, convinced he would run away in fear in any second. Taking a deep breath, he followed the line of eleven year olds into the Great Hall, and when it was his turn, he stilled his shaking hands, and went to sit on that stool.

He was a bit of a hat stall, the hat saw the same potential for greatness in Slytherin that it had seen in Harry, but then it saw how Albus was, at that moment, standing up to his fears. The hat told a doubtful Albus that bravery was not being fearless, but having the courage to stand up, despite those fears. The hat also spotted the resolution in Albus’s head: Slytherin was not so bad after all. And so that became his home for the next seven years. His second year, he became Chaser, playing with his good friend, Seeker Scorpius Malfoy. Together, he, Rose and Scorpius made quite the trio: inseparable, until they had to play Quidditch of course, and then it was all competition.

After Hogwarts, Albus joined an international Quidditch team and played for several years. He did a lot of traveling, a lifelong goal of his, and he was always playing his favorite sport. But he missed his family and friends. He felt completely out of the loop when, all of a sudden it seemed, he received an invitation to Scorpius and Rose’s wedding. After a few more years, he decided to settle down and become Quidditch coach at Hogwarts. Out of all the Potter-Weasley family, it was Rose, Albus, and Scorpius who remained at Hogwarts the most after graduating, Rose studying, writing and publishing, Albus coaching, and Scorpius teaching.

Albus did marry, but Irene and Albus were never meant to last and they were divorced before they had children. Albus never really felt the need to see another woman, no matter how his family wanted him to, and each and every student that passed through Hogwarts was like his child. He taught countless students to fly and to play Quidditch and Albus could want nothing more.
