'How do we rewrite the stars; say you were made to be mine?"

~
Rey sat on the corner of her bed, twirling her lightsaber in her hand. The scent of leather slowly faded away each day she was with the Resistance. The smell of work and occasionally lavender roamed around Profundi. She sighed and placed the weapon aside. Rey had to face them sooner or later; might as well be now.
She got up and fixed her hair as much as she could then stepped out into the hallway. Rey expected to see Stormtroopers and Officers, but she didn't.
Pilots and Rebel officers greeted her with a smile, unlike how everyone scowled on the Finalizer. Rey didn't smile back, as she was still uncomfortable with this new act of kindness they were showing her. She walked around, occasionally asking people for help. Poe approached her carefully, not knowing what might cause her to explode.
"Hey, Rey.... how're you feeling?" He asked, rubbing the back of his neck.
"Oh! Umm, you're... Poe Dameron? I'm doing fine." She replied.
"Yes, and that's great! Leia and Finn want to talk with you." Poe said.
Rey nodded and proceeded to let Poe show her to the Bridge. She gulped. Leia turned to the girl and greeted her with a warm and loving smile. Finn paced around, not looking up until Leia cleared her throat. He looked up, and his eyes lit up as well.
He ran to her, stopping as he remembered she wasn't fully there. He awkwardly made a hugging position, which she slowly returned. He chuckled.
"Rey, are you okay?" He said, holding her shoulders and looking into her brown eyes.
Rey cocked her head in curiosity and then nodded. It felt good to be appreciated. Leia walked up to her and took Rey's hand in hers. She had so much warmth in her touch it was unbelievable.
Rey flinched, but relaxed at the old woman's actions. Leia looked at her, and her smile faded.
Her expression was full of pity.
"I'm sorry you had to take care of us." She whispered. "We shouldn't have-"
Rey ripped her hand from Leia's.
"What do you mean? Take care of you? You all caused so much destruction. The First Order is only trying to keep everything balanced. We will restore the Galaxy the way it was meant to be." Rey said through gritted teeth.
Several guards trotted to her, pointing their guns at Rey. She flicked her wrist and they all fell, their guns broken. She growled. What is their problem?
"I just wanted answers. Not lies." Rey hissed.
"Rey, that bastard, Kylo Ren, is the reason we're all trying to repress. He's trying to destroy the Galaxy. Do you know how many people, INNOCENT PEOPLE, he's murdered just for the sick approval of Snoke?" Poe said, almost yelling.
"They weren't innocent if he had to kill them." She snapped.
Poe smacked his forehead. "This is unbelievable. Leia, don't tell me-"
Leia put her hand up to silence the Pilot. She gulped. This was not how she wanted things to go. She believed Rey was the answer to possibly getting Ben back to her. If she couldn't have her whole family anymore, Ben would be just as much.
"Come on, Rey. He killed Han Solo, his father." Finn said, trying to console the angry girl.
Rey didn't know what to say to that. It was true that he did that. Her thought of Kylo wouldn't change not matter what. Lies. That's not why she came back.
"I will tear this ship apart unless you give me some real answers." She said jabbing her finger in Finn's face.
"We don't know what you want to hear! We just want you to come back home, Rey. Please." Poe said, brushing his hair out of his face.
Leia said nothing, she closed her eyes and faced the ground. She was never one to be too proud.
"Rey. We're sorry."
Rey turned. The Resistance officers were kneeling and looking at the floor, beads of sweat trickling down their worried face. Rey stomped her foot and pivoted toward the door. She stormed down the halls and back to her bedroom.
"They can all shove that crap where the moons don't shine ever on Alderaan." She thought. She took her lightsaber and threw it against a wall. The familiar hum worsened Rey's headache, she went to turn it off, too annoyed to notice the flickering colors of purple to red.

Kylo awoke from his meditation. He breathed heavily, not beginning to realize how much power that drained from him to escape his solitude. Something had shook him. It was faint, but it was there. The Force had made him feel something. But what?
He scrambled to his feet, the Sith temple radiating power and increasing his migraine.
"Ugh, god!" He yelled as he grabbed his cloak off the ground. Kylo clasped it back to his shoulders and continued toward his plane. The Javelin powered up, and he immediately left for the Finalizer.
He landed in the bay, Hux being the first to berate him.
"KYLO REN, YOU'RE SO DEAD, YOU STUPID LITTLE FUCK! WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?"
"Where's Rey?" That little sliver of hope she was still on the ship hovered around in Kylo's head.
"She's gone. All she left was some dumb stick on her bed." Hux scoffed.
"You went in her room?" Kylo said, taking a step towards the ginger-haired man.
"What? Is that what you're focusing on? The girl is gone, potentially out to tell the Rebel scum of our plans." Hux said, getting in Kylo's face.
Kylo was getting aggravated. This mouse thinks he can just waltz into Rey's room and possibly rape her again? He thought wrong. Kylo raised his hand and bitch-slapped the fuck out of Hux. The slap echoed through the bay. Hux held his cheek, turning red of embarrassment. He cleared his throat, fixed his uniform, and left.
The Dark Knight was furious, but at multiple things. For one, Hux. Two, he'd left Rey alone to deal with that pompous bastard. Three, he was mad at himself for not being strong enough to escape the stupid field.
He'd already asked if she was still here, but he knew long before what the answer was. Kylo stormed out of the bay, trampling a few Stormtroopers in his tantrum. Ren was able to control his anger more now, but that was only because Rey was there. This time she wasn't.
Kylo ignited his blade and began to rip holes into the walls.
He was silent, letting his anger flow into his hands and letting it flow freely. Pieces of the walls lay his feet, sparking and burning.
"WHAT THE BLOODY HELL DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING? THIS IS GOING TO COST US ANOTHER FORTUNE." Hux said, pulling at Kylo's right hand.
His left shot straight for Hux's and he pinned him against the wall, his breathing erratic in his helmet. Hux kicked, unable to get Kylo off him.
"Lord Ren. Lo-LORD REN."
"What do you want, Phasma?" Kylo barked.
"You need to let go of-" Phasma tried.
Kylo held him harder.
"Lord Ren, you need to let go of him. We need your opinion on something." Phasma said.
Kylo looked at Hux, he was turning purple. He gripped harder one last time and let him fall to the floor into a coughing fit.
"S-s-screw you, Ren."
Kylo stomped off with Phasma to the control room.
"What was so important that you had to-"
"We found her." Phasma said.
"Who?" Kylo said, confused.
"Rey." She replied.
The Dark Knight was confused. He couldn't feel their Force connection anymore. It dissolved. Then he turned. There she was.
Rey was sitting on her small blue bed, flipping her lightsaber hilt over and over again in her hand.
"Rey." Kylo's lips curled into a smile beneath his mask.
She turned and gasped. Her petite form ran up to him, crying and hugging him so tightly he thought she'd break his ribs. Kylo wished she would hold him tighter. He returned her hug, throwing his mask off and onto the floor next to them. Kylo held her head and kissed it, no longer caring who saw. People did stop and saw him and Rey.
"What the-"
"Where'd she come from?"
She looked up and got on her tiptoes to reach his lips. The two kissed each other so desperately. Rey melted into him, grabbing handfuls of his dark hair; letting her tears mix in with their longing.
"Ahem."
Kylo let go of her lips, and faced the sound. She buried her face into his chest, gripping his back and taking in his warmth. She smiled through her drying tears, finally feeling safe. There was Leia. Her aging face seemed forgiving and soft.
Kylo gulped. He didn't know what to say.
Rey started to dissolve and flow back into the dark blue room. Kylo held her tighter, his lip trembling and several tears dripped down his cheeks until she was gone.
The Officers and managers didn't know what to say to that, and just stared at him. They didn't make fun of him or comfort him; they understood.
"What are you lot staring at? Get back to work." Phasma ordered.
They went back to doing what they were doing before; checking in on things, keeping the Finalizer steady, etc. as if nothing had happened. Kylo fell into himself and knelt on the floor. He wiped his eyes and fixed his mask onto his head. He sniffled quietly, getting up.
"Lord Ren. As I was saying earlier, we found her. Do you want to get her?" Phasma said, keeping herself professional. Kylo looked at her. He didn't know what to say.
~
Rey had calmed down after her paroxysm in the Bridge. Everyone felt so controlling. Rey laughed. She came here to get answers; she was possibly getting them... just not the ones she wanted to hear. Rey's curtains were closed, leaving hardly any sunlight to beam through. The blue lamps only illuminated a small part of the room.
She decided to take a hot shower. Rey inhaled the steam and exhaled cold air. Her expression softened and she relaxed. As the water ran down her back, she envisioned her and Kylo on a random mountain. The wind blew against their face, while the setting sun brightened their smiles.
Rey exhaled. She wanted that so badly; but with the ongoing battles, there wouldn't be a time to do that. The First Order would fight, only to get repressed by the Rebels, and vice versa. The little voice in the back of her mind told her she could end it all right here. It repeated itself over again, until it stopped. A random shot of cold water interrupted her thoughts.
"Errgh! What the hell...?" Rey said, stepping out of the shower's reach. She stuck her hand into the running water. It was cold.
"Who used all the hot water, damnit?!" A voice came from the hallway.
"Commander Dameron, please calm down! You're disturbing-"
"OH THE HELL I AM. Maybe one of them SHOULDN'T have used all the hot water and I wouldn't be pissed!" Poe said.
"Hey, Dameron, will you shut the hell up? Some of us are trying to sleep."
"And some of us are trying to take a nice hot shower after a long day," (there was his sass) "BUT WE ALL CAN'T GET WHAT WE WANT, NOW CAN WE, ACKBAR?"
Rey turned off her shower and wrapped herself up with a towel. She poked her head out into the corridor, seeing three officers trying to calm down Poe through his tantrum. He was sticking his fingers in Ackbar's face, and Ackbar was doing the same to Poe.
Rey rolled her eyes and went back into her room. People were so unorderly, it was funny. She supposed it was the stress of having to find somewhere to evade the Order again. Rey opened her drawers near her bed. Her black uniform was clean and nicely folded. She took it out, dried her hair, and put it on. A small part of hair was forced into a bun to keep her it out of her face, and the rest of her brown hair was down. She sat on her bed, flipping her lightsaber in her left hand multiple times.
"Rey."
She turned; the Dark Knight was staring back at her. Rey ran up to him, hugging him so tightly. She heard the clatter of his mask as he kissed her head and hugged her back. Tears streamed down her face. Rey felt his warmth and smiled.
Rey looked into Kylo's eyes; they kissed. They fell into each other's longing. Kylo broke from their kiss, and she held him closer. All of a sudden, he began to dissolve. He sunk back into the control room; the last thing she saw was tears going down his scarred face.
Rey fell to her knees, sobbing uncontrollably. Leia placed her hand on Rey's shoulder.
"Take care of him."
Rey wiped her eyes and looked at Leia. She didn't smile or scowl. She meant her words. Rey stood up and hugged her. That time, the old woman smiled. Rey knew what she wanted.
