The Twin Exceeds: Red and Blue And Sky Battle!

Chapter 8

The wind whistled in Luna's ears as she fell. Natsu was beside her, screaming. Before she knew it, she started flapping her hands in hope of actually floating but that was a long shot.

The ground came closer into view, with the hard dirt and the stomping of a huge machine next to her. She wondered if she'll get smushed by the machine or fall flat on the face.

In a sudden light, Natsu and Luna were both being held and flying. She wasn't surprised that Happy was the one who caught Natsu but what she was surprised of who caught her. She looked up, expecting Kat to insult her for looking like a retarded pterodactyl trying to fly. "Red!! What're you doing here!"

Red grinned. "I wanted to save you of course! I can't stay a whole day without you~!" His usual blue eyes turned into pink hearts as he then blushed and looked away. His red cape flying behind him and his red fur moved in the wind. He was wearing a blue t-shirt that had the same blue color of his twin sister's fur.

"That sounded creepy..."

"You're the best Happy!" Natsu yelled as he put on his toothy grin. He then turned his head towards Luna and his eyes almost popped out of his head. "You have three cats!"

"Three?" Red pointed towards the leg that she and Natsu fell on to see Blue with Kat flying their way towards here. "Blue!!"

Blue shook her head. "Were you trying to give us a heart attack!" She then smiled and ruffled her hair. Her paws were white but her fur was the color of the freshest water and her red eyes showed a demonic expression when angry. She was wearing a red bow on her tail and a white corset dress. "Kat is full of magic power, now!"

"C'mon Kat! We have to go!" Red frowned of not carrying her but threw Luna towards Kat. Kat caught her and smiled. "You two better go back home or else the old man will be really pissed." The twin exceeds gulped and waved goodbye. Luna sighed. "Well, how am I going to repay them, now?"

Kat shrugged. "I honestly don't know. They always come at the most time of urgency."

"You guys go ahead!" Gray yelled. "We'll go through the hole at the side!"

They all nodded, a serious expression on their faces.

While Natsu's plan is to charge straight forward and destroy everything, Luna's was similar except hers is to have an unexpected entrance. They both nodded and went forward with the plan.

Natsu charged in with Happy at Max Speed and was destroying everything in sight.

The dark sky turned grey as thunder rumbled. Luna yelled a battle scream as she appeared in a flash of lightning right in front of Brain. She punched him and with the help of Kat, got away before he could even react.

"Cobra!" He yelled, his voice filled with rage. "Don't let them destroy this place!"

Cobra smirked as he yelled, "Cubelious!" The snake hit them but the exceeds managed to hold on. "I'm not letting you anywhere near Brain."

Luna watched in shock as the snake grew wings. "The snake could fly!"

"Yeah, I'll battle you but..." Natsu started flying towards Brain. "My real target's him!"

Before the snake could wack him again, Luna managed to create a shield of water. Cubelious stopped halfway towards the shield and changed direction, hitting Luna and Natsu and the exceeds.

"You knew our direction..." Luna mumbled, looking just as outraged as Natsu.

"Dammit! He blocked our way again!" Natsu yelled as he raised his fists.
