×A week later..×
I slowly open my eyes as they drift through the bedroom. A small frown got placed on my fatigued face as I turn to lay on my side. My gaze moves towards the digital clock as it stroke 5.28 am. I sigh softly as I sit up straight, rubbing my eyes. My friends didn't go to my house that day. I never even received one call. I was a little bit anxious that everyone would've forgotten me. I still had a small sparkle of hope in my body that caused me to move on.
I leisurely get out of bed and saunter up to my wardrobe, opening it. My eyes shift forth and back, looking for a good outfit that would fit my returning. "hmm--?" I hum to myself before taking out a dress that resembles one of these. It depends on what your taste is.
I also try styling my hair a little so it would suit the dress. I didn't put on make-up since it's forbidden in my household. Unless, it's a holiday, of course. I gaze at myself in the mirror of the bathroom, inhaling and exhaling. "I can do this," I mumble to myself. "(Y/n), sweetheart, wake up. Breakfast is ready." My mom calls out from downstairs. I nod to myself, glancing at my outfit one last time before hurrying downstairs.
I get downstairs and put on black low cut footwear. I hear footsteps approaching up to me followed by exhalation. "(Y/n + y/l/n), Wak-" My mom quits speaking as she remarks me. I smile embarrassedly at her and put a strand of hair behind my ear. "Goodmorning-" I murmur. Her eyes trail up and down on me followed by a bright smile. "You better not come home with multiple men." She tantalizes, causing me to scoff. "Mom! It's not like that-" I defend.
"You never dressed that petty unless it was Christmas." She continues whilst wandering into the kitchen. I follow her with an eye roll. "What did you even prepare?" I question, changing the subject as we arrive at the cuisine. My mom walks towards the counter, causing me to be able to see the dish standing on the table. "Woah- It's been ages since you made Bacon and Eggs. Did you get a promotion?" I sit down, earning a glare from my mom. "It's an important day, honey." She mentions as she starts giggling. "And yes, I got a promotion." I chuckle at her enthusiasm.
"Eat lots! Today will be a long day." I nod my head and begin eating as my mom finishes the few last pieces of bacon, placing it on a big plate that remained in the center of the kitchen table.
×At School×
My mom drove on the parking lot of Hawkins High. She didn't want me to go to school by myself, so she gave me a ride. She also offered me a ride home since she didn't want me to stick around with others until I was 1OO% better. "Okay, I get it," I mention as she stops the car. "After school, Parking lot, no buts.", "And..?", "Mom--!", "Sweetheart, it's important for you to say it." I breathe out. "I will not come home with men." I roll my eyes. "Not until..?", "I'm 35. Yeah, yeah. School's about to start. Can I get going now?" I give her a hopeless glare. She nods satisfied and gave me a gesture to get out.
I do as she says. My mom also gets out of the vehicle before calling out to me, saying I need to be careful. I roll my eyes and turn around, facing her. "I'll see you after school!" I call out as I put my backpack on. I then turn around and start wandering off to the school.
When I get inside, I remark a lot of people. It's has been quite a while since I faced people which caused me to feel a little bit uncomfortable as first. I stroll towards my locker and change my books, looking around for the others. Just as I want to shut my locker, someone else did it for me. My eyes increase as I knew it wasn't one of my friends. I rapidly shift around, facing Mr. Asshole.
"What do you want Troy." I snap at him. "It's been a long time princess, where have you been?" he requires with a somewhat smile nor smirk placed on his face. His arm was also in a cast. "Home. What happened to you?" I ask, he furrows his eyebrows. I roll my eyes and gaze exaggerated at his arm. He glimpses at his cast before shrugging, his eyes moving back to me. "Got into a fight. He looks way worse than me. Don't worry, it doesn't even hurt." I nod my head. "Take care." I start wandering off. "Although-" I hear him state, causing me to stand still. "You could help me with making it better."
I rotate my body, facing him again. I then cross my arms, slightly tilting my head. "How?" He starts wandering up to me. "I don't know. Let's say, My parents aren't home tonight and there is this movie playing." I burst out in laughter. "Really Troy?" He nods his head. "What do you think?", "I think that you're a gigantic piece of shit. Do you really think shtuff like thish would work on her?" The two of us turn our heads, facing Dustin and Lucas. "By the way." Lucas states. I uncross my arms, still standing aside Troy. "It was Eleven that broke his arm." My eyes enlarge. "Really?" Troy scrunches his nose aggressively as the two approach up to us. "He alsho peed himshelf in front of the whole shchool," Dustin adds. My gaze shifts back to Troy. "For real?"
He resembles furious as his gaze lands back on me. "Aren't we a little bit too old for that stuff?" I state. He opens his mouth, ready to fire back. "Troy, you know what? You sound like a nice kid that just went through a lot. If you didn't lie. I might've said yes to your offer." With those words I walk off towards the two others, leaving Troy speechless. He stares at me for a few more seconds before wandering off, ruffling his hair.
Dustin and Lucas resemble full of disgust. "What?" They glimpse at each other before making eye contact with me again. "You and Troy?" Dustin states as Lucas makes a sound of disgust followed by a shivering sound nor movement. I roll my eyes. "Oh c'mon. Is that how my friends welcome me after a week?" I scoff playfully. Dustin chuckles before giving me a tight hug. I instantly hug back, without any hesitation. "We missed you, (Y/n). Especially Lucas." He mentions, knowing it would piss him off. "Excuse me? I did not. I was perfectly fine without her." I pull away from the hug and face Lucas.
I give him a glare. "Oh c'mon, you were worried about me being with Troy just now." Dustin nods in agreement. Lucas sighs in annoyance since he knew he couldn't talk himself out of it. "Th-That's just because-" I raise up one eyebrow, waiting for his sentence. "You know what? Fine! I missed you too. But- just a little. I swear." He gave in yet defending himself. I chuckle before pulling him into my embrace. "I missed you too." I could feel him smiling whilst his head was resting on my shoulder. I then pull away. "Just a little though." I raise my hand before my eye, making my index finger move a few inches away from my thumb.
"Ha. Ha. Ha." Lucas laughs sarcastically as he strolls into the class. Dustin and I gaze at each other before bursting out in laughter whilst following him inside of Mr. Clarck's class. "Oh there you are." My eyes shift up, seeing our teacher. "Oh- Hi Mr. Clarck." I smile brightly. "How are you feeling?", "Way better than before. Although- I don't really remember much of it though-" I mention with a slight chuckle.
"You don't?" I hear a voice speaking behind me. I rotate my head, seeing Will sitting on his chair along with Mike sitting on his desk. Then there was Eleven which sat on the desk aside them, moving her feet back and forth. Mike smiles brightly, looking at the dress I wore. It seemed like he was the only one who actually cares about my outfit.
I walk over to the three of them, firstly looking at Will. "Are you okay now?" I require. He nods his head with a bright smile. "It was... painful, but- I'm here now." He explains. I sigh from relief. "How did they remove it though?" I ask again. "Let's say that... El did a great job." He replies.
