Hopper glances back at the door as he shuts it quickly. The screech got heard again, but this time it was way closer than before. I rapidly walk over to him, trying not to make any sound. "What's wrong?" I question anxiously. He just gazes at me, not saying a word for a while. "Hopper-" I mention again.

"Demo-dogs," he answers. He didn't whisper anymore after he came into the room again. I sigh and give him a sign to lower his voice before the others would awaken. "Demo-dogs?" I question. "It looks like a dog... but it has a weird face," he replies with a lower voice while keeping his eyes locked with me. My eyes enlarge as I recall the moment that happened in the weird world I appeared to be in. "H-How...How long do we have to stay here?" I stutter concerned.

"I don't know, but we can't leave any time soon," he explains. I rotate my head, seeing Mike still being asleep. My heartbeat increases. I knew he hates me and now we're in the same room which didn't make it any better. 'Don't wake up-' I thought to myself as I turn my attention back to Hopper.

"Don't think about it (Y/n). Just ignore him if you don't wanna talk to him." I bite down my lip as my gaze shifts back to Will. I then realize he sat up and had his eyes open.  My eyes widen as I froze. Hopper slowly pushes me aside and hurries over to him. He places his hand on Will's mouth and shushes him. Will resembles confused.

"W-What's wrong?" He questions softly as Hopper removes his hand from his mouth. I wander up to him. My brain still didn't accept that Will was already awake. It was as if my whole body was frozen. "D-Demo...dogs-" I eventually state. Will's eyes increase. I could already read off that he knew something more than I did. I then remark a soft grunt. I quickly get underneath the bed, leaving Hopper standing aside the bed on his own.

"Jim?" I hear a familiar voice calling. I sigh from relief since it's from Joyce. "Stay quiet. There are monsters out here." I hear him explaining followed by a slight crackling sound of furniture. "Mom..? Hopper..?" I hear Jonathan's tired voice mentioning. I take a deep breath and get from underneath the bed, immediately catching Joyce's attention. "(Y/n), sweety, what are you doing here?" She asks.

"I needed to know if Will's alright-" I reply timidly, not making eye contact. "That's sweet but... what about your mom?" Joyce's eyes move to Hopper. "Jim, You did take her home, right?" Hopper clears his throat. "I was going to, but she didn't want to. She was not feeling well." I nod my head, agreeing with him. Joyce crosses her arms.  "It's getting closer," Will speaks up, causing all our eyes to shift to him. He seemed worried.

"What are you talking about, kid?", "The Shadow monster," I remark a voice mentioning behind me. I then hear a squeaking sound. after that, a sound of feet touching the floor was heard. My heart increases as I make fists.  "What's the shadow monster?" Jonathan requires bewildered.

"It got me-" Will states without any emotion. he eventually became pale-like. He looks frightened. I then feel a warm presence aside from me, realizing Mike's standing aside me.

"Will?" Joyce calls concerned. "He's having another episode?" Jonathan suggests doubtfully. I wanted to speak but I couldn't. My gaze shifts through the room. I regard a tv remaining on a cabin. I take a deep breath, recalling another memory of the lab. I shake my head and sigh underneath my breath before passing by Mike. I walk over towards the tv.

"What are you doing?" I hear Jonathan asking. I stand in front of the subject as I gently touch a button. The tv screen turns on. I keep clicking buttons until a snowy screen appears. I hesitantly turn around, facing everyone.

"I–I need something... to cover my eyes," I state nervously. Everyone observes around, looking into cabins and behind the curtains, but it was Mike who found a scarf, a black woolen scarf. He strolls over to me. Every step he takes seemed to be taking ages. My eyes slowly move up and meet his as he stands in front of me.

He makes an attempt to hand it over to me. My eyes shift down to his hands as I hesitate. He stares guiltily at me. when I peer at him, his eyes slide down. I slowly reach my hand out and take the scarf, softly brushing my hand against his. I glimpse up at him again, not saying a word as I turn around again. "I found something," Jonathan spoke as I turn around. He holds up a towel. "It's okay-", "I already gave her my scarf," Mike mentions. I nod my head and show it. "What are you going to do with it anyway?" He requires. "Get us out of here," I state as I rotate my head towards the snowy screen. I take a deep breath and tie the scarf at the back of my head.

I slow my breathing along with focusing on the rustling sound. A few minutes later, I open my eyes. All I could see was darkness surrounding along with my own reflection on the floor. It was water without a doubt. I start wandering around, hearing the sound of my feet touching the liquid. I glimpse behind me, not seeing a thing. I then hear a screech, causing me to snap my head towards the front again.

I see something blurry standing a long distance away from me. I start approaching up to it hesitantly as I felt anxious. When I got closer and closer, I heard it grunting along with eating something. I stop moving as I stand behind it. I slowly reach my hand out, touching the creature's slimy body. It promptly turns his head towards me as the head opens, showing millions of teeth. It hisses-like screeches as I back off.

The creature stands up, being way taller than me. I then start running as fast as I could, away from it. My breathing becomes rapid and my body tenses up. I quickly peer over my shoulder, noticing it's gone.

Kid, I'm here. calm down. Focus. we need to get out of here.

I take a deep breath and start calming down as I feel something being placed on my hand. I open my eyes again as my breathing gets back to normal. I see Will standing there with fear in his eyes. He stares at me as I start wandering towards him. "Will?" I call out uptight. I hear people talking through each other, echoing through the darkroom as I stand in front of him. He resembles fear and fear only.

Joyce: W-What is he saying?

I turn on a radio that's standing in the hospital room so they could hear Will talking if he actually would. "What's wrong?" I question, staring in his eyes. They looked lifeless as if something sucked all his energy away. "It's c-coming-", "What?", "I can't-" I rotate my head behind me, seeing a red sky with lightning coming down from various clouds. I squint my eyes, seeing a big shadow appearing. It had very long sort of feet and a sharp-shaped head. "Shadow monster," I murmur to myself.

Tell Will it's not real! It's fake.

I twist back to Will. He remains the same pose; his eyes frozen at the sky, his body all tensed up and dead eyes. "Will, look at me. This... is a nightmare," I explain as I hesitantly place my hands on his shoulders, looking into his eyes. "Will." I attempt once again. "It's coming... he knows where we are-" Will explains with a weird tone in his voice. I look at the shadow monster it's coming closer. It's making a cacophonous noises. I instantly glimpse back at Will.

"It doesn't-" I mumble as I rotate my head back towards the huge shadow. I concentrate on the creature hoping to be able to do something.  I see it's arm rapidly approaching in front of me. My eyes increase as I make an attempt to drag Will with me. "It's here," Will mentions as my breathing gets heavy. I quickly remove the scarf as my heart beats faster than ever. My nose bleeds from both sides as I feel myself being pulled into a hug.

"It's okay sweety. I've got you. I've got you-" Joyce comforts me as I nuzzle into her. My whole body trembles. The shadow felt so cold- "It's here." I announce followed by a sob. "I saw it," I add with a sobbing tone, feeling fear overwhelming my whole body.

"I know, I know-" she states, stroking my (H/c) hair.
