"Eleven?"

"Twelve-" She declaims with a astonished facial expression. She had curly hair and she wore a checkered shirt along with a pair of jeans. I could hear that the rain already began again. It slammed against the window that was barricaded by wood logs. "I...thought you were-" I cut her off by a hug. It was the first time in years that I was able to hold my sister. I nuzzle into her as I feel arms being wrapped around me, pulling me close. Hopper just stood there in the kitchen, holding a mug in his hands.

We pull away after a rather long time as we look at each other with a smile. "I met your friend," I mention as I notice a movement in the background. My head rotates towards the person as I see Hopper shaking his head with an earnest expression. I look back at Eleven as her facial expression turned into a concerned one. "Mike?" She questions as her brown eyes widen. I glimpse back at Hopper as he kept gazing at me with the same expression, shaking his head. I didn't really understand why I wasn't allowed to say it though.

I shake my head, "Then...who?" She asks again. "I-" I stutter, not knowing what to say. "I didn't ask his name-" I lie as her face softens. "How did he look like?" She spoke with a slightly desperate tone in her voice. "Baseball hat. and curly hai-", "Dustin-" I shrug softly as she takes a seat at the table. "They brought me to Hopper," I add, causing her attention to be laid on me again. She nods her head before looking down.

I glance up at Hopper which gave me a wink followed by a small gesture that told me I did a great job with not telling her. My gaze slides back to Eleven as I notice her taking cutlery followed by starting to eat a potato with beef. She seemed a little bit disappointed since I didn't tell her about Mike. I look down and sigh softly. I didn't want to lie to her. Hopper better had an explanation for this.

"I know its hard kid, but you have to be patient, you'll see him soon," Hopper states, peering at her. I notice Hopper's face. He looked rather bothered with a small touch of concern. I wander back to the couch in the middle of the room and take a seat on in.

"Soon? You say soon on day 21. You say soon on day 205. You now say soon on day 263? What is Soon." she snapped at him, causing me to look up. I started wondering why she wasn't at Mike's house. "Soon is when it's not dangerous anymore," Hopper defined in a calm tone. "On day 500?" Eleven spoke a little bit more boisterous than before. "I don't know.", "On day 600?", "I don't know.", "On day 700!?" Her voice rose up even more. "I don't know!" Hopper increases his voice as well which was way more interrogating than Eleven's. "On day 800!!?", "I DON'T KNOW!", "I NEED TO SEE HIM!!"

Eleven moved her head upwardly as the food got spoiled all over Hopper. My eyes increase as they keep being glued on them. "Friends. Don't. Lie!" Eleven shouts as she rushes to her room. "Eleven!" I call out after her before seeing her slamming the door with her mind. Hopper kicked the table as he went with his hands through his hair.

I get up and hurry to her room, knocking on it. "Eleven-" I speak up, hoping she would open the door. "Just leave me alone!" The sound of a door being locked was heard as I turn around, facing Hopper. "What is this?" I ask.

"She wants to meet Mike again. I-" He sighs as he rubs his face. "I know it's time for her to meet him but... I just can't let her go." He states as he walks over to the couch. " you know what I mean-" I slowly approach him and take a seat down aside him. "I know," I nod my head.

"I can't lose Eleven. Not in the way like I lost her," he looks at a certain direction. I furrow my eyes as peer at the same direction, noticing a picture a of a small girl. She seemed to be very weak. She also wore a scarf around her head. I glimpse back at Hopper which resembled silent.

"I know what it is like- Losing someone you love... arguing with someone you love- making that person so angry that they yell at you," I state as my gaze moves down. Hopper's eyes shifted to my survey. "Hey- who did that to you?" he required with a caring temper. I slowly look up at him as he nods his head followed by placing his hands on mine. "He was just anxious and surprised. Don't worry about that too much." He explains. "He'll be fine." I look away and move my lips inwardly. "I nearly killed Will too." He furrows his eyebrows.
