Kadin glares at the wizard's hands and whispers urgently: "Where is the damn antidote?"

The wizard takes something out of the inside pocket of his tailored suite and places a little bottle with black contents inside in front of Billy.

"You'd better get to the toilet directly and swallow all of this. Hurry, time is running out! It will make you extremely nauseous so that you will bring up all the poison. Drink a lot of water and don't stop till only water comes out. Go now, boy, you have little time left!"

Billy takes the little bottle that looks just like black ink and walks stiffly towards Linda who gives him the toilet's key. Kadin watches him till he disappears at the entrance and then she glares back at the wizard's hands and whispers aggressively: "If something happens to him, I shall jump up and yell for everyone to hear that you have poisoned him, you scumbag, and I shall grab you and detain you. You won't get away with this, understood?"

The wizard giggles softly as if he is a comedian: "Now it's your turn. Bring the booklet or your little world ends."

His words baffle her because it reminds her of the warning: "What do you mean my world will end and in any case, we are going to wait to see if Billy is alive and I'm sure he is okay. We are going to wait till at least half past eleven."

Kadin is surprised that he doesn't seem to have any problem with what she has just said, but his reply shows that he is still in charge and confident.

"No problem, Kadin. In any case, I want to chat with you as we have a long road ahead of us together."

Once again the wizard confuses her: "I don't understand, but if it is the truth, what is your name?"

"Vipracitti."

She tries to pronounce it correctly. "Vipracitti. What a strange name!"

The wizard suddenly stretches out and pulls the open Bhagavad-Gita towards him. He then stretches out again and also pulls the Bhagavatam towards him. He puts them upright and with his forefinger points at the names.

"Isn't it just coincidence that you have chosen these two books? The Bhagavad-Gita and the Srimad Bhagavatam. These are the most insightful, holy books of Vishnu, the Maintainer of the universe."

"Why do you keep on confusing me, Vipracitti? Is this how you amuse yourself?"

"Confusion is the best teacher because, in this world you live in, you are mostly told lies. Do you believe everything that happens is mere coincidence, my lovely Kadin?"

"I really don't know, Vipracitti."

"There is no light without darkness and no darkness without light. There is no perfection without imperfection and no imperfection without perfection. There is no beginning without an end and no end without a beginning. There is no happiness without unhappiness and no unhappiness without happiness. Some move in the light and some move in the darkness and are under the impression that they are opposites, but they are really inseparable and part of one whole.

"The light and the darkness are going to protect you both throughout this horrible end of everything that you experience now to a new beginning. It will be difficult times for you, Kadin, and what has happened up to now, was only the preparation. This evil that came over you, created a bond that will flame all the brighter and your families are going to melt together so that you will be ready to navigate the terrible evil when your world comes to an end.

"You will remember these words and although it makes no sense to you, you will understand one day and realize there is only one way. You will bring the only flicker of hope for a new world to me and I will end Shiva's darkness that I brought into this world and start a new world of light and hope of Vishnu."

He shoves the books back to her. "Relax. These books will only befuddle you even more. Life would be your real, hard teacher. This was only Vishnu's further confirmation to me."

Kadin sees Billy at the entrance and he comes down and sits next to her.

"How are you feeling?"

He frowns. "We must just finish up here. I'm famished and just want to get this rotten taste out of my mouth. I vomited my lungs out. I thought I was going to block the toilet but I'm feeling much better now. Did you give him the damn booklet?"

"I wanted to make sure you are okay."

"Kadin, just hand over the thing! I just want to get out of here!"

Vipracitti agrees: "Yes, come on now Kadin, get my booklet. Billy is hungry and thirsty, believe me. Look, it is eleven thirty already on the clock, girl."

Kadin gets up and fetches her school bag from a worried Linda who asks amazed while she hands over the bag: "What is going on, Kadin? I don't think you are telling me everything. I see you don't make eye contact with that strange man. Your friend looks very sick. What is wrong with him? Can I do something for you? Tell me if you need my help."

Kadin smiles at the worried Linda: "Madam, don't be worried, we are nearly finished. It really was a very strange interview, but we are okay."

Kadin takes the bag, quickly walks to the table, put it down, digs in the bag, takes out the false booklet and put it in front of Vipracitti. She puts her bag on the floor while she watches how Vipracitti turns the pages. This is the moment of truth. Her heart races in her chest.

Are they going to fool him with the fake booklet? If he discovers it is a fake, what can he do in any case? His accomplices are not with him. Is he a powerful wizard or is everything only talking and cheating? She will know very soon.

The wizard puts the booklet in his inner pocket and takes out an A5 size, flat leather book and place it in front of them. Kadin's heart races and she reminds herself of Michael's theory that he only can catch their souls if they look into his eyes.

Vipracitti's words pacify her slightly. "Kadin, I am going to compensate you for the evil we've caused you and you probably wonder what is going on and why this booklet is so important to us. Take Billy's hand. I am going to let you read together out of the book of the truth that will free you and protect you and help you through the difficult times that will follow shortly."

Confused she takes Billy right hand into her left under the table and inquisitively they stare at the book of truth while the wizard folds it open in the middle.

Amazed Kadin asks: "It's only empty pages, nothing is written in here?"

"Correct. I must first unlock the truth for you. Look carefully and concentrate. It will appear when I wipe my hand over it."

Billy presses her hand slightly while the wizard wipes his hand over the book. Suddenly the open pages change into mirrors and they look into the wizard's eyes that paralyze them completely and pull them into darkness.
